"Anand you can't just leave me like this"she shouted almost in the verge of crying.

Two days passed by. There was nothing I could do to proove dad's innocence. Everything looked so messed up in front of me. I couldn't believe that shradha was responsible for everything that had been happening in our lives. She killed anand and vibhas baby
How dare is she?
When I explained everything to Anand, he was angry as hell. I tried a lot to calm him down. He was furious. But something had to be done before it's too late. Vibha and vennela on the other side was unaware about the entire thing. I asked anand to keep this away from them until we find a solution.
"The food is getting cold"I was startled by vennelas voice. She came and stood near me, rubbing her palms above her hands. We were standing in the terrace together
"I was about to come"i said.
"Jay you need to take care of yourself. I'm sure there's some way to help uncle"vennela said making me sigh
"I don't know and frankly I have no idea. They're not letting anyone to see dad. I mean...how I'm I supposed to proove his innocence without knowing what actually happened?"I took a breath.
"May be there's something else you can do"she said and i looked at her.
"What do you mean?"I asked
"May be we could check the CCTV footages of your dad's cabin or may be we can talk to any one of the witnesses. I'm sure we could atleast find some clue"she said and it dawned upon me.
"You would have made a hell lot of a investigator don't you?"I asked and vennela smiled looking at me.
"Even I feel bad that we all are going through this. It's just that, one one deserves it. Neither you nor anyone else"she said. I kept my palm above vennelas
"Thanks. I feel better"I said. She held my hand back. For few minutes, we stood under the moonlit sky holding each other's hands.
"Can we go inside? I'm freezing"vennela said rubbing her hands together. I hesitantly put my hands across her shoulder and pulled her a bit closer. She quickly stiffened at my hold.

I didn't move my hands away. I waited for her to do something and I could feel her eyes on me for a second.
"Better?"I asked. She only hummed. I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back without eyeing me.
A little later walked back inside. After the dinner, we went to bed. I made a mental note to visit dad's clinic tomorrow.
The next day, after dropping off vennela in the hospital, I left to the clinic. I didn't inform Anand about this as I felt it wasn't the right time. What if I get nothing out of it?
