The sky was filled with clouds of dark and light gray as rain started to fall from these clouds while Silky stayed in the way back of the cave because the entrance was starting to flood with water. Silky leaned against the wall and was in tears because she was alone and she had no food and the only water she had was the rain water. Silky slurped up some of the rain water but then a flashing filled the sky and a loud noise struck through the air and made Silky jumped back in fear. Silky looked at her pouch and decided to take her ball out of the pouch and play with it as the storm moved on and it made Silky feel better but loud wingbeats cut through the sound of the falling rain and striking noises. Silky peaked her head out the cave to see that same dragon perched on the same exact tree looking around.

Silky watched as it gazed at the area and then looked down at the ground but instead of staying up in the tree the dragon flew down onto the ground and Silky jumped back in the cave. The dragon landed in the muddy dirt as rain drops slid off its scaled making the dragon soaking wet. The dragon lowered its head and peaked into the cave to see Silky hiding in the corner with her talons covering her face. "Don't hurt me please!" Silky cried as the dragon stared at her but instead of yelling at Silky, trying to get her out of the cave, or harming her, the dragon sat down in front of the cave with its wings spread out and waited patiently for Silky to see that it was nice.

Silky peaked out from her claws and crawled out of the cave to see the dragon shielding Silky from the rain. Silky looked up at the dragon but was unable to see the top of her as everything was blurry for some reason but the dragon scooped up Silky and flew into a place in the forest and into what seemed like a leaf made house. The dragon fed Silky this reddish-orange fruit and it tasted amazing and it was something new that Silky had never tried before. Silky ate as much of the fruit she needed then plopped herself next to the dragon and fell asleep as the dragon covered her with its wing.

The rain had stopped the very next day and the sun shined through as much of the trees as it could. Silky had woken up with her vision back to normal but the dragon wasn't next to her anymore which was odd. Silky saw the house that was made out of bright leaf's and there was a leaf crafted rug, wooden tables, and talon crafted baskets inside the house. Silky looked around until that dragon came to the front of the house and waited for Silky and when Silky came out of the house her blue shimmering eyes widened as she saw the light blue scales of the dragon mixed with large and small dark blue spots that scattered almost all of her body and she had spots of this teal green color. The dragons eyes were dark blue and her claws were this beige color but on the dragons head Silky could see something just below her curved back horns and right under her ear was something that looked like a tiny wing with a darker type of green inside but dark blue on the outside while the dragons actual wings were dark blue on the outside and lighter green on the inside.

Silky was so confused because the dragons that she saw were never like this and didn't have tiny wings under their ears. The dragon smiled at Silky and decided to finally introduce herself "hello young dragonet, my name is Fruity and I'm a Rainwing dragon which I expect you not to know because you look so different then the other dragon tribes here" Fruity wagged her long tail back and forth while waiting for a response from Silky but Silky hesitated not knowing what the heck a Rainwing was. "I'm... Silky the Silkwing... Nice to meet you Fruity" Silky said with hesitation but Fruity knew why and it was because she wasn't from here and was from a different place.

Fruity took the time to talk with Silky and answer her questions. "What's with the little wing behind your ear?" Silky asked "its not a wing silly its what we call a frill and no it doesn't have to do anything with flying" Fruity replied with flipping her frill with her talon "what can you Rainwings do? What do you do everyday?" Silky looked up at Fruity as Fruity thought for a moment then looked out further into the village of Rainwings "We have venom that helps protect ourselves, we can change colors, and we can hide using this transparent color to help us" Fruity stood up and changed herself to transparent where Silky couldn't see her then went back to normal. Silky was so amazed and wished that she could do that but her thoughts were cleared up when Fruity answered her other question "us Rainwings normally sleep under the bright sun on wooden platforms or in hammocks so we won't fall and we love to pick fruits off the trees and play and we teach many different things" Fruity spun around and flew up into the air and waited for Silky but then she noticed the poor Silkwing couldn't fly.
