Chapter 8

"You..." Sundew snarled "yes, me..." The Hangwing replied. The Hangwing only her head showing and her scales were purple and pink mixed with red but her eyes were fire red and orange. The Hangwing chuckled a bit and the dragon behind her started to chuckle as well. "Why did you harm us? Why did you kill that innocent Leafwing!?" Swordtail snapped "because anyone who steps a talon into the continent of Pyrrhia is now considered an enemy!" The Hangwing yelled "why though? You guys don't have a problem with Pyrrhia dragons" Hydro said "they might not have a problem with Pyrrhia dragons but I do... They took our continent, our homes, our life! They didn't fight because they didn't want to but I did because it was our continent and we found it first!" The Hangwing said "but we..." Blue started to say but the Hangwing cut him off. "Enough!" The Hangwing shouted while stomping her foot on the ground which sent a wave of shaking through the roots of the ground and black vines starting to pop out again. "Darkness, kill them all!" The Hangwing told her big black dragon and the dragon started chasing them while crowds of vines followed them as well.

The others ran as fast as they could not knowing where to go but the harp opened up a faded blue portal where the strings were and it was big enough for a dragon to go through. "We have to go through the portal, it's not big enough for the other dragon to get through!" Cricket said and the others had no choice but to jump through the harp portal as the dragon was chasing them. They went in through the portal and landed in black grass and luckily the portal closed because the big dragon was right on their tail. They got up feeling dizzy but hey were still amazed by what they saw. There was no trees, no sound, and no dragons or all but two bug dragons... Paradise and Isra...

Paradise and Isra were talking but they turned to see the dragonets staring up at them because they were as big as Darkstalker if not a bit bigger. Paradise got up from the grass and she was just like everyone had imagined with blue top scales and sunset bottom scales but she also had sapphire blue wings, frills, and eyes, her feet were black. Isra was just how Lilith had described her with her black scales and white spots, a snowflake on her underbelly, purple and white smoke waving from her eyes, three moons on her back and a lot of other things. Paradise was the first one to say something "welcome, we were expecting you to be here" Paradise had a calm voice that was soothing to listen to "you were expecting us?" Silky repeated in a more confused way "yes, isn't that right Tamia?" Paradise looked at Tamia and so did the others. "Thank you for keeping this a secret so that you could get here, we were the ones who put the scroll in the History cave on purpose" Paradise said "but you got a Leafwing killed! And now two continents are starting a war!" Sundew snapped "they were gonna start a war anyway" Isra said and everyone paused.

Paradise and Isra explained why they put the scroll there. "This was all meant to happen and it was because of the war we did this, old Isra here can tell the future very clearly and when she told me about the war against Pyrrhia and Prophenia we knew we had to do something about it so we made up a scroll and sent it down into the History cave where Webs would never suspect a thing then we choose the ones who were going to Jade mountain to find it and it was Tamia who found it because we gave her the visions, we talked to her through her mind along the way and things ended up to be complicated as we can see with Willow's wing" Paradise explained while also checking up on Willow's torn wing. "We gave you guys the scroll so you could find the continent of Prophenia and free us so we can stop the war but we will need your help too" Isra said "what good can we do? Were so small compared to you!" Pacificsight said "true but your also the ones that Mount is after" Paradise said "who's Mount?" Ruby asked "the Hangwing with the big black dragon" Tamia replied "wait so you want us to get chased after!" Volcanic yelled "yes but only because me and Paradise need to get the Queen Wasp and all her Hivewings to help as well" Isra said and the others were shocked well besides Tamia.

Isra explained to them the plan. "You guys need to get the darkness over to Jade mountain in Pyrrhia where well meet you there with Queen Wasp and the other Hivewings and along the way we will gather more Leafwings and Silkwings in Pyrrhia" Isra said "wait there's more Silkwings?" Silky asked "yes, we can see why you think that because Queen Glory told you she never knew what a Silkwing was" Paradise looked down at Silky "it was part of the plan because we wanted to tell you that later or else you would have gone off track and it would have taken longer to complete this mission" Isra explained. Silky was questioning everything but would rather not ask if it was gonna mess up the mission but she could feel Isra in her mind reading her questions. "Don't worry Silky we can answer your questions after" Isra said with a smile but time was running short so Paradise opened up the harp portal for the dragonets and Paradise and Isra went through a huge portal to Pantala. The dragonets all tried to find Mount and her huge dragon and it was easy to find them going through the forest of the Venomwings because the darkness dragon was huge. "Hey! Mount and that stupid dragon of yours!" Ember yelled and it got Mount's attention real fast as she turned in anger then sent her dragon after the dragonets. Fruity quickly picked up Silky as Tamia picked up Willow because she was stronger than Sundew and they all flew off as Mount and her dragon followed them through the water.

"Fly as fast as you can guys!" Volcanic yelled, her wings beat harder and harder every moment as the dragon tried catching up to him. "You can fly as fast as you can but that won't help you with my dragon!" Mount laughed but the dragon was too big and too slow to catch up with the dragonets so they made it to Pyrrhia without stopping and near Jade mountain. The land was completely dead and Jade mountain was cut in half by the vines... The dragonets perched up on top of Jade mountain as Mount and her dragon crawled up onto land and slowly made their way towards Jade mountain and that dragon was ready to kill. Mount snarled and was about to order her dragon to kill them when Silky spoke up. "Wait! Before you kill us I have a question" Silky said "fine, ask your questions before I kill you but that's the only mercy I'm giving you" Mount sighed "how did you form this dragon? Are you an animus?" Silky asked "actually I made it out of everyone's darkness and depression" Mount answered "how long have you lived in Prophenia?" Silky asked "14 years" Mount replied. Silky was doing great at keeping Mount distracted while Paradise and Isra gathered up many of the tribes dragons.

Silky asked her last question and finally Paradise and Isra came with thousands no wait millions of dragons from all different tribes including Prophenia and they all came to defeat Mount and her darkness dragon. "Mount, you caused both Pyrrhia and Prophenia to go to war for your own game all because your tribe gave up the land because they wanted no war" Paradise said and Mount turned to face her "Paradise and Isra!? You two were dead! How did you..." Mount had soon realized and turned to Tamia "you... You knew what to do all this time! You followed their plan! I should have found and killed you when you were little!" Mount yelled then was about to kill Tamia when Paradise knocked into her dragon and made it fall over.

All the dragons attacked with all the strength they had with their venom, fire, and dodging and it was pretty cool but the dragonets couldn't wait on top of Jade mountain, they had to help. Tamia flew off to use her dangerous ice breath along with Iceberg and December while Volcanic, Ember, Ruby, and Mountain used fire and what they could to help as well. Pharaoh and Quartz started biting at the dragon and breathing fire but nothing was doing anything to the dragon and it pinned down Paradise and Mount laughed as she was about to kill Paradise again. Silky was standing right their and was about to watch Paradise get mauled when she had her eyes fierce as ever and something began to happen to her...

The dragon lifted it's talon and was about to claw Paradise to death when vines of green trapped the dragon and pinned it to the ground instead. The dragonets had seen Silky transform and she had Leafwing wings and parts of her scales had those rusted-gold scales, her eyes were green, and she had those slick back horns of green and gold. Silky had the powers of leafspeak but much stronger because she didn't need plants nearby to grow them. "Leave my family and friends alone you beast!" Silky cried as she crushed the dragon with her vines and knocked off Mount causing her to crash onto the ground. Isra was able to keep the dragon from breaking the vines as Paradise grabbed her harp but it wasn't just any normal harp but rather a harp that turned into a sword.

Paradise held her golden sword tightly in her hands then ran toward the dragon and swung her sword. The sword cut through the dragons neck like butter then the dragons head was on the floor and everyone was in silence but then started cheering and clapping as Paradise turned her sword back into her harp and calmed herself. Paradise ad Isra turned to Silky and smiled "I told you that your great present awaits" Isra said "my great present? Wait a minute... My wings! I have Leafwing wings!" Silky jumped up in joy and the other dragonets hugged her. "Were a family and we stand for each other!" Silky said "yeah!" The dragonets cheered for Silky and Silky felt like the most important dragonet in the Pyrrhia continent.

Soon after, Paradise and Isra had to return to the private sprit world but before they did Paradise, Isra, and all the dragonets helped clear up both Pyrrhia and Prophenia and even Queen Wasp helped! They each took a piece of the land from both continents and started to use their magic to clear up the place from vines and tar. After cleaning up both of the continents Paradise and Isra gathered up all the Queens and made them hold hands and then they explained why. "You all need to get along in order for this war to end, for this suffering to end" Isra explained and all the Queens looked at each other but they agreed to be kinder and nicer to one another. Paradise looked at Silky and told her to be safe then she looked at the other dragonets and told them to be safe as well and as the other returned to their place in the spirit world so did the others in the kingdoms.
