The Tourney Tryouts, Ice Cream, and Dude🍎

It was the end of the day and that means  it was time for tourney try outs! When I get there I see Jay and Carlos on the field with everyone else. I see Evie up in the stands and go sit beside her. "Hello Briella!" She gets up and gives me a hug. "Hello Evie! How was your day so far?" She gives me a huge smile. " it was great! I'm having so much fun here!"

" I'm so happy that you are! Are you here to watch Jay and Carlos?" She nods her head and says "plus Sebastian he invited me, He's in my chemistry class, He even called me beautiful!"  I shake my head. I will not let Sebastian play with Evie's feelings. "Evie I know you might not want to hear this, but Sebastian is not a good guy. He's been seen with my brothers soon to be ex girlfriend Audrey, I don't want you to get your hopes up. I do know someone who likes you though. You can give him a shot?" She look at me a little sad and intrigued "who?" I look out on to the field to see Sawyer and Ben "my friend Doug. You met him at the welcoming when you guys got here. Evie I'm so sorry I just don't want Sebastian messing with you and I don't want to see you hurt. Your too good of a person for him." She gives me a thankful smile and a hug. " Thank you for looking out for me Briella." I give her a small smile "of course what are friends for!" She returns the smile to me. We then exchange numbers and watch practice.

I hear coach yell from the field "Jay! Ben! Offense! Chad you're defense! Taylor your shooter!" Everyone had done what they were told to do. "Hey hey! Hey you lost boy get out of the kill zone!"

They start playing then Jay makes a very impressive goal. They all start talking in the group. I can't hear what coach told Jay, but I heard that he suggested to Carlos that he should try band. Ben said he was going to help him. I then start talking back to Evie when I heard Jays voice getting closer to us.

"Hey Princess!" I turn my head towards him. "Guess what! Coach says I made the team!" I get up and hug him "congratulations Jay! Im so happy for you! How about some ice cream to celebrate?" He nods and tells me he's going to change and that he will be right back.

"So Evie I see you have a very impressive fashion sense! I would love it if you could make my coronation dress! I can pay you?" She squeals and smiles "yes! I would love to!"  I smile and say "great! I can't wait to see what you have planned for me!" I then see Jay at the bottom of the stairs I tell Evie bye and walk down to meet him. He holds out his hand for me when I get to the last step. I take it and we start walking together toward the cafeteria. I turn and look behind me to see my brother and our friends all watching us leave with smiles and smirks on their faces. I blush and keep walking with Jay. I just know I'll be hearing about this later.

When we get there I asked him what flavor ice cream he wanted. He said rocky road and I got pralines in cream. We sit down and start talking. "Umm.. Briella... would you uh.. maybe want to hangout sometime?"  I smile "are you asking me on a date Jay?" He nods his head I smile back and tell him "I would love that Jay." His worried smile grew bigger. "I promise it will be one that you'll never forget." I take a bite of my ice cream while he said it. "I sure hope so, it would be my first ever date."

His eyes grew big "you mean I'm the only person that has ever asked you on a date" I nod my head as he shakes his. "I don't know what's wrong with these auardon guys, but they are definitely missing out on a beautiful girl." I blush at his comment.

As we walk back to the tourney field,  he gives me his number and my phone buzzes I look at it it's a text from Ben telling me that I need to meet him there, I quickly tell Jay bye. "Bye princess" he kisses my cheek I blush and walk towards my brother. I glance back at him to see that he has a huge smile on his face. Coach then walks up to him with a jersey.

When I get to the field I see Ben and Carlos warming up. Ben says he's is going time Carlos on running. We were both looking at the watch where we heard Carlos screaming and running away. "Carlos!" Ben yelled "Ben, Ben help me!"
We follow him into the Forrest he's up in a tree holding on to it to get away from ...dude? "Ben! Briella! Help me! That thing is killer! He's going to chase me down and rip out my throat. It's a vicious, rabid pack animal!"

"Carlos who told you that?" I ask him
"My mother!"  He stated  "Cruella?" Ben asked, Carlos nods his head "she's a dog expert! A dog yeller! Why are you holding him! He's going to attack you!" Carlos says as I hold dude in my arms. "Carlos you've never met a dog have you?" Ben asked. "Of course not!" Carlos scoffed "Dude meet Carlos, Carlos meet Dude. He's the campus mutt!" I introduced them.

"He doesn't look like a rabid pack animal." Carlos says as he slowly slides down from the tree. He comes to stand in front of me to pet dude. "Jeez your a good boy aren't you? Your a good boy!"  I smile at the interaction between Carlos and Dude. "I guess you guys have it pretty ruff on the island." Ben asked him as I hand Dude to Carlos. "Yeah... let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs." I frown sadly "good boy" I turn my head confused at Ben when he muttered that. Making me laugh from the look on Carlos's face.

"I mean your a good runner, your fast... you know." I mutter to him nice save. "Oh yeah, thank you" Carlos tells him. "Yeah listen, I'm going to give you guys some space. Yeah? You guys get to know each other and just, you know.. come find me when your done...okay?" He nods and sits down with dude.

Ben and I walk out of the forrest "so I saw you and Jay walking hand in hand. Wanna tell me what that was about?" I shrug "we have celebratory ice cream for making the team then he asked me on a date. He might be a villain kid, but he's very sweet." Ben smiles down at me and puts his arm around me as he walks me to my dorm.

"That's great sis! I'm very happy for you!" We get to my dorm and he kisses my forehead and tells me he'll see me later. It was later that night that I had finally finished homework, I got a bath, laid down with Petal and went to sleep smiling ready for anther day.
