Prowling Closer

★Felix's Pov★
I can't just enjoy his company and keep him in the dark for much longer. Hyunjin deserves better than that, I know but if I don't get some kind of answer soon, then it's no good for either of us.

I wake up to Hyunjin sleeping as he fell asleep holding me last night since I was so exhausted from staying up many nights in a row. Hyunjin's neck was tilted in such a odd angle that I thought that his neck is going to be hurting.

I slowly scoot away just enough to get up to walk into the bathroom in the cell. I mean it's not like we take him out of his cell everytime he has to use the bathroom, too much hassel. So in every room is a bathroom with a walk in shower for multiple reasons, sink and toilet.

The toilet has mostly a lot of safety features and so does the shower. You would be surprised what you come across around these places. I splash water on my face then paged Minho on the walkie talkie

"Dr.Lee M, do you copy" I wait for his respond on the walkie talkie as I lean on the sink watching Hyunjin sleep

"What now?"

"What happened to hi and how are you?" I smile at him. It seems like I interrupted him or something.

"I'm not customer support, you are staff and I'm over this all. Now spit it out before I hunt you down" Oh? Yeah definitely something is up but he's the head of the floor so that's his problem, not mine.

"Alright alright. Chill. Can you watch Hwang for a while? I need to attend to something."

"Okay, do you think Dr. Seo will be fine with Jisung?"

"I mean its not like he's dangerous or anything, so my guess would be yeah. Besides he has no ties with Jisung from what I know. I don't want him around Hyunjin"

"Okay I'm out" He says as I check on Hyunjin who is still asleep. I almost laugh at his response but I didn't want to wake Hyunjin.

Minho knocks on the door as I put in the code and fingerprint.

I let him in as I put my finger on my mouth. "He's asleep" I whisper as Minho nods as I do that same thing I just did on the outside.

I begin to walk down the corridor as I was on my phone. I checked the time 9:00 AM, good that means Yeosung would still be home. I need to find all the answers I can.

The drive back home was long and anxiety ridden as I pull up in the driveway. I play all the questions that needed to be played out. And so he must have been awaiting me as his blonde hair is pulled back and a cup of coffee in his hands.

I step out of the black '70 Dodge Challenger and walked up to the front steps where my brother was. "How did you know I would be back?"

"Well Yongbok, if you must know, I knew you eventally have to bring more clothes and more questions to ask of course."

So he knows my plan but that doesn't mean he's going to get his way with that. "First off, what does Dr.Seo have to do with Hyunjin?"

"Find out for yourself, I don't give things way for free. Thats the only hint I'll give you" He sure is a pain in my ass but there is nothing to be done with it.

"How come mother didn't come back?" I found it odd mom still hasn't been back yet with Yeosung being here and all.

"Oh yeah that's right, in a actual mental ward." Oh great even better. Bastard. Letting his own mom suffer like that.

"Okay then one more question, why Hyunjin?"

"Why anything? Do I need to answer that question?" His face was blank, he's knows about being able to read emotions by his face so he's keeping it neutral.

"Answer me" I'm getting too heated over someone so not worth my time.

"Oh just the fact that I wanted to ruin everything good in your life." He smirks then starts laughing.

I slam him into the porch wall as I pick him up by his collar. "Leave Hyunjin the hell out of this or I swear it will be the last thing you do "

He punches me right in the nose making me drop him back down. He pushes me down then stomps on my hand before going inside.

Dr.Lee M is in the room with me now ae Felix is now gone. "So welcome, I suppose. Is this going to be a often thing?" I ask him since Yongbok won't give me much of a answer or anything.

The brown haired doctor shrugs "Like I know? Nope I don't, he can leave and come back on his free will."

How considerate, maybe he isn't that cold...not "No kidding. So Dr.Lee M, how much longer until it becomes unsafe for me?" Of course I worry about whatever Yongbok is afraid for me about.

However me being in here longer means that I can spend more time alone with him. For me that is really precious.

I mean sure, getting a place with him and just doing that at a safety of a home would be nice but it will probably take such a long time.

"Unsafe? Do you not see the pinpad and the fingerprint id there? You are about as safe as you can get without a lock and key" He sure is friendly..

"In your opinion of exs, do you believe in second tries or can they work it out again?" I just want to see his point of view on a couple of things.

Dr.Lee M looks up from the ground into my eyes as his hands rests on his knees. "In this place, many things and secrets can happen, yes. But does that mean it's good for you? No, not necessarily. The future holds many things. Fate works in weird ways. "

He doesn't understand though that I am here because I couldn't stand loosing him. There is no other option, it's only him. The doctor continues

"However love is a war, sometimes it's a battle worth fighting for but other times it wears and tears you down." Seems like he is talking from experience or something. But I don't know him or anything else.

"So does the love die?" I just have to ask him because even after Lix reassures me, I'm just not sure why he would want me again.

"No, it just fades down so it's just ends up less intense than before. It morphs sometimes but it never stops. You can try drinking but it still doesn't take the pain away. But then it will land in Rehab and we wouldn't want that."

Oh? I knew something drove him to become what he is now but I guess now I know. Me and him have some similarities I suppose.

"So, are you truly better or are you not as crazy as Dr.Lee Y claims you are?" He asks as I see some kind of emotion in his eyes.

"I suppose I'm on a good day" I smile thinking about him falling asleep last night. He was so worn out but still slept so well.

"Oh and take these" Minho tosses me a box of pain relief patches. "Doc requested me to give them to you"

I take a couple sticking them off of my my neck. Dr.Lee M looks at my wrist then back at me in shock. He didn't know? Then why did he think I was in here?

"Chan keeps on calling here. He's trying to know your status you know. You shouldn't worry him too much" He has such emotions like being concerned? That's a shocker.

"Tell him he can come visit next week. Felix won't mind"
