Prince Y/n awakens, he yawns and stretches.

He gets out of bed and gets ready for the day. It is his eighteenth birthday, which means that he is finally of age to command an army of his own.

He gets his sword and shield and puts his armor on and rushes to to the mustering field.

When he arrives he is met by his new Oberst.

Oberst: My lord, I am Oberst Wallo Drache.

Y/n: Greetings. We can talk later, get the men ready to march.

Wallo: O...of course sir! Where are we headed?

Y/n: I seek to create a greater empire, one that unites more than humanity. I wish to unite everyone that I can!

Wallo: A noble endeavor.

Y/n: My father thinks it is a childish notion. But I will not let him dissuade me from my goal!

Wallo: Then where shall we go first?

Y/n: To the west. I had visions of us finding allies in that direction.

The next day the new army begins marching. With no goal in mind the army must trust Y/n.

With Y/n's army needing to be more mobile, most units don't have firearms.

But Y/n studied many races and knew their tactics.  He knew that depending on what situation met him, he would be more prepared than most.  But unknown to him, he would meet his first ally soon.

As his army marches it finds itself face to face with an army of the ogres.  The leader walks to the front.

The huge ogre was a little larger than his comrades.  His huge sword hung low as he used it like a arm rest.

Ogre leader: Humans. Why are you here?

Y/n rode out to meet this ogre.

Y/n: Greetings, I am Y/n Franz. The prince of the empire.  And you are?

The ogre grunts.

Vogg: They call me Vogg, now answer my question.

Y/n: I seek to unite people under a greater empire.

Vogg laughs.

Vogg: Really now? That sounds interesting. Sure we've done some contracts for the empire, but never thought of settling down in their lands.  And to be completely honest, I'm sick of this constant moving.

Y/n: Well, you can fight beside us as we search for more to flock to our banner.

Vogg: Hmm, an interesting proposal to be sure.   Well, I suppose I can play this one out.

Y/n: It's settled then? Service for citizenship?

Vogg: Well, If you honor it.

Wallo approaches

Wallo: Are you sure about this?

Y/n: Of course I am! For too long we've been so into our own people, instead of learning and coexisting with others!

Wallo looks a little worried.

Wallo: Well, that was for a good reason sir.

Vogg: I'm a lot smarter than other ogres.

Meanwhile some of the ogres can be seen picking their noses and looking on in confusion.

Vogg: Not that it is a hard bar to step over. But their still strong and will bash through the frontlines.

Y/n: Get your men ready to move. We will go south. I have a feeling that we will meet allies there.

The army begins their march south. But meet a very unexpected friend.

They continue to march, when suddenly a Skaven runs out in front of Y/n's horse.

The horse stops and Y/n looks down, his guards draw their weapons.

Skaven: Wait! Wait! Human-things will want to hear my words!

Wallo: By Sigmar! Is that...a Skaven?

Skaven: Yes-yes. I am Skaven. But see-look, I am a genius Skaven! So smart, that they cast me out of my clan! Wanted me to be a slave!

Y/n: Then are you proposing you join us?

Skaven: Something even better!  They call me, Skitek the smart!

Wallo: That doesn't seem like a very good title.

Vogg chuckles in response.

Skitek: My plan-scheme is to take over a small clan, and then build it up. But I need help-assistance. You help me, I will join you.

Wallo: We should just kill him. Not worth the risk in the long run.

Y/n: How about we allow the Skaven citizenship. But only if they adhere to our laws and do not cause any plagues!

Skitek: Yes-yes. It will take a long time to get Skaven clean. But possible, with time and selective breeding.

Wallo: Sir! This is insanity!  This can only cause disaster.

Vogg: Sounds fun, I'm in.

Y/n: Hush, Wallo. If what he says is true. Then we found an important ally.

Skitek: Follow-Follow! We must depart at once.  I will explain the plan when we get there.

Wallo: I hope you know what you are doing, Y/n.

Vogg: Where is your sense of adventure?

Wallo: I'd like to not be rat food.

Vogg: Keep complaining and eventually you'll be ogre food.

Wallo scoffed as the army began marching again. Towards a unexpected mission
