chapter 14

Y/n's troop march towards the city of Marienburg.  Suddenly they find themselves met by an army of chaos. The two sides quickly get into formations as the skirmishers rush to annoy the other side. 

The chaos warriors seem to be bolstered with units of Khorne and Nurgle. Giving Y/n an idea about how this chaos lord functions.

Nurglings rush Y/n's skirmishers to make them fall back. In response the cavalry rushes and stomps out the nurglings.  Due to the sheer mass of Y/n's cavalry, the chaos warriors do not respond.

The skirmishers begin to fire at one another, both sides take casualties as the chaos warriors get impatient and begin marching towards Y/n's forces.

The artillery begins to fire as both sides plan on hitting the bulk of the opposite force. 

Skitek decides that the better idea is to aim for the artillery pieces. And it succeeds. Y/n's artillery destroys the enemy artillery and they are forced to charge at Y/n.

The defensive troops hold the front as friendly artillery flys over their heads.

The army of chaos smashes into Y/n's vanguard.  While the spears hold the front, the rest of the army begins inching their way through the flanks.

Arrows fly as both sides lose troops from archer fire.

Y/n rides his horse as he looks at the front line. He comes up with a plan.

Y/n: Vogg! I need your ogres to cause a scene. I need them to show them true chaos!

Vogg smirks and gathers his ogres.

Y/n: Skitek. I need your Skaven swordsmen to be sneaky and go around their front. If we can encircle large portions of their army the battle is ours.

Skitek nods and gathers some clan rats.

Vogg smashes through the right flank, this causes the chaos warriors to fix their lines to avoid being encircled. Trolls attempt to break the ogres but to no avail as the mournfangs tear them to pieces.

Skitek charges from the backside of the chaos warriors. He concentrated his rats to cut a chunk out of the right flank and encircled it.

With the whole right flank encircled the chaos warriors attempt to fall back. But find the much more mobile army of Y/n's too fast.

In minutes the whole infantry of this chaos army falls. The rest retreat back to friendly lines. With the enemy routed, Y/n's army continues to march.  

The army's next challenge is the army belonging to the chaos lord that invaded Marienburg. 

The army proceeds to get into formations as both sides wait for the other to make a move.  This army you could see an assortment of deamons and five exalted bloodthirsters.

Wallo: By Sigmar. The Marienburg army stood no chance against that.

Y/n's men began to waver seeing so many power deamons.

Wallo: The men are terrified, and I do not blame them.

Y/n: Very well. Then I need to inspire them.

Y/n gets off his horse and walks to the front line. His men watch as he walks past them and stares down the opposition.

Y/n looks at his men.

Y/n: We have faced great odds before! We sacked the greatest city of the chaos dwarves, desecrated their temple to their God!  We have faced chaos many times and won! This is no different and I will show you that! 

Y/n looks for the chaos lord and can see her armor. He smiles and signals a challenge.

The chaos lord responds and one of her aspiring champions makes his way over to Y/n.

Y/n looks at the champion's armor, massive and heavy.

Y/n knows that the defeat of a warrior like this will surely inspire the men, but he hoped that she'd send of the bloodthirsters. 

However he'd have to work with what he had.

The champion charges and swings his sword and it clashes with Y/n's shield. Both warriors back up and then attempt to slash one another. Y/n finds himself at a disadvantage as the armor deflects the blade. 

Y/n was not deterred and instead decided to prove his strength.  As the warrior swung his sword, Y/n puts his shield in front of him and lunges forward, tackling the champion and pinning him down. Y/n uses brute strength to pry the helmet off of the chaos warrior.

He then lifts his shield up and bludgeons the warrior with it. Smashing his skull and ending the once proud warrior. 

Y/n gets up and unleashes a war cry. His men  join him and scream in victory.

With this war cry. The army of chaos begins marching towards Y/n's forces.

Y/n holds his sword in the air.

Y/n: For a future, where chaos does not exist! Charge!

Y/n's forces listen and start running full force towards the enemy as the artillery opens fire. The battle begins as Y/n's forces are ready to fight to the death.
