It's been 2 months since that night and I can tell Knuckles is worried about his father. We haven't heard from him since that night and feared the worst. It wasn't until we got a call from him saying that it's slowly going good but there was much to discuss. This was a good sign that we may finally have peace. Knuckles right now has been welcomed into our pack with open arms and he seems to enjoy being apart of the pack. No he hasn't turned which is fine because I want him to be happy. I still haven't told the other leaders about him being mortal for his protection until the day we wed. We're not engaged but I hope someday we will. For now he understands why he can't attend the meetings of the monsters. Mario, Peach, Silver, and Blaze are actually hopeful for this peace treaty with the hunters but still a bit doubtful. I don't blame them after centuries of hiding. Shadow, Rouge, and Amy are on the bench about it. Yet during this meeting I notice Amy was smiling at her phone. Has she found her mate as well? I thought happily for her not knowing that wasn't the case. After the meeting we leave Blazes manor but I noticed Amy was already long gone. When I arrived home I was greeted by a panic Tails and Mallory.

Knuckles pov

I don't remember what happened one minute I was reading the next I wake up in a dark car. We pull up to a manor with pink flames lightning the night. I was forced out of the car by two large men and dragged inside the manor. "She spoke the truth about you echidna you are stunning" one of the men said. Before I could tell him off we enter a large room where a very beautiful pink hedgehog wearing a black and purple tight strapless lace corset that pushed up her breast, a black skirt with a slit showing her sexy leg and purple high heels. She wore a silver ankh necklace with a purple gem. "Welcome Knuckles~" her voice purred. "How do you know my name?" I asked. Her thugs leave when she wave her hand. "Yes I do" she smiled. "Why am I here?" I asked and she walks up to me. "I just wanted to get to know you. I mean after all you are Sonic's mate" "how did you-" "I have very good sources my dear come" she smiles and I hesitantly follow. Deep down I knew something wasn't right why meet me alone without sonic present. She leads me into a living room type area that was lit by black candles giving off a red flame. "You never told me your name miss...." I said in a stern tone. "Oh forgive me I'm Amy Queen of the vampires." "That explains a lot...." I muttered. "So tell me Knuckles~ what do you see in a spouse?" She asked drinking a glass of blood. "Ummm that's a odd question and I don't feel comfortable answering that...." I said. She nods and points to a spot on the couch. I walked over and sat still feeling uneasy. She sits at the one across from me and crosses the exposed leg over the other. "I understand that" she smiles but her eyes started to glow red. "Ummmm ok...." I look at my legs. "Sonic please walk in that door now....." I thought. I didn't realize she was right in front of me u til she pins me to the couch. "HEY WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled and felt her grip tighten. "Ya know when Sally told me who you were I had my bats watch you. You are very very stunning and I do need a king~ what do you say~" "NO!" I yelled and I felt her hand grip my face making me look at her. "You will be my king~" she said seductively as her eyes glowed a hypnotic shade of blue making my body and mind lose its senses. She smiles as her fangs extend and leans down to my neck. I couldn't stop her she had me under her control. Suddenly Sonic burst through the door and tosses her off of me releasing me from her spell. He knocks her out cold. "You ok?" He asked but something was off in his voice. "Yeah.... I'm fine...." "Good now let's get you home." He smiled and I followed. Something was off about him but I didn't know maybe it was me being under Amy's spell...... as we got outside he took my hand. I knew something wasn't right and yanked my hand away. He turns to look at me and I shook my head. In my heart I knew.
