Expect Nothing but Appreciate Everything

We woke you and had a huge breakfast and decided to go for a nice leisure walk at a park since it wasn't raining.   We enjoyed the park on the four swings they had there. Maura dragged us to go do some shopping and had Jane try on some clothes which she wasn't happy about but did it anyway. We finished shopping and went to get something light for lunch than headed back to the hotel so we all could shower and be ready downstairs by 1:30.

Jane and her fellow teammates got suited up and deep blue applied on their aches and sport bandages or strip placed on areas they needed for it to be on. All players stretched and started shooting.  The buzzer went off. Coach Bill Russell decided to play the veterans first to get a good lead. My wife and the other veterans had 36 points to 9 when they were switched out.  The sols played  horrible and loss to the Queens  134 to 49 points.  ESPN describes the game as a disaster.  The players took showers and got their rub downs before everyone left with their luggage on the bus to the airport. Both teams took the same plane which was a good thing. We landed when we found out a hurricane came and did significant damage to their stadium.  The rest of the games would be played at the Arco arena and concerts were canceled which the NBA paid handsomely for the rest of the games to be played in natomas California otherwise known as the Arco arena. A few of the cleaning crew got hurt and one person died but we didn't know their name. The coaches and players and other staff from both teams donated money for the hurt crew and Sara Hughes paid for the employees funeral  from the sol team.  She  was one  of their centers.

We got home and Jane ordered three huge pizzas for us and she ordered 40 to be delivered to the Marriott hotel where the sol team was playing at. She had them write down what type and told them she would order pizza on her. Her way of saying she was sorry for their loss.

Our pizza came and the driver said they called in Alesha and  Sienna in after I called the order in.  Because when they found out the name of the pizzeria place they went online to order salads and other items. Sienna had brought her company truck to deliver to the hotel and our food was on the house with two additional pizzas and 36 BBQ wings with a family salad on her as a thank you.  My wife tipped tjp driver and text Sienna to thank her.

Maur you don't have to make a salad after all. Us eating this late isn't healthy. No babe but we don't do it often so we will survive.  Yes Maura we usually eat at a reasonable time and we all work out so I am with Jane we should be okay. Maybe some tums but that is about it.

The sol coach text Jane thanking her because they were hungry and they weren't expecting to be here so soon away from their loved ones who they had fly out after they did.  Now we knew why they ordered more food.

We ate and had left overs for Jane to have cold pizza for breakfast.  We  watched a movie and went to bed.
