Expect Nothing but Appreciate Everything

I woke up before Jane and Lisa and thought to myself, Maura don't be afraid to start over. This is something my nani Isles who was my adopted nani would tell me. I didn't have to ever work if I didn't want too. I inherited billions of dollars from my nani Isles, my adoptive parents monies, and I was half owner or my biological grandparents winery along with my biological twin sister. I got a full ride scholarship to undergrad and graduate medical degree from Stanford.  I was class valedictorian because of my photogenic memory. I now am the medical doctor for the Sacramento Queens basketball team after quiting the Sacramento sheriff's forensic chief medical Examiner position. I got bored only dealing with dead bodies. I made lots of good friends from law enforcement.  Jane was leaving Boston police department when I got hired.  We went out on few cases and solved homicides together before she quit to be a lawyer with her niece in their firm. I am friends with many of her friends , family and deceased family members. We even took photos of hust us and others. I have been to this house when her aunt's Kiki and Lisa Fox lived here. Her brothers, parents and her aunt's wanted us to go on a blind date. We just never did. Jane got shot at the court house in Italy and lost some of her memory.  This was why she quit  being a lawyer.  I knew of her wealth but didn't have the heart to tell her or Lisa this.  When she got hired I asked her family and friends not to say anything.  I didn't want her to feel bad because she didn't recall us going out in college, taking photos and hanging out alot in Italy, a little in Boston and alot here in California.

Morning beautiful.  Hello Jane. How long have you been awake? About thirty minutes.  We need to be quiet Lisa is tired.  She has been putting in alot of hours with you all and still closing out your former team. I noticed you don't have any photos or you in basketball uniform. I stopped doing that after my parents died.  My photos from my basketball career was buried with them. They were my first coaches and biggest fans . I am sorry. It's okay.  I have my career of basketball in my memory.  Maur thank you for not asking about the scar. I don't remember me being lawyer nor detective. I just know because my niece still has my law degree and name on the building. My family and I have photos up. Come to think of it, I have photos of us. We both do.We all have past we want to forget parts of. What is yours? I was the chief Forensics Medical Examiner of Boston Massachusetts.  Were you there when I was? Yes. Did we work on some cases together? A few before you quit to go to finish your law degree.  I am sorry I don't recall.  Jane don't be none of it's your fault. Maura do you my family, friends and former coworkers? Yes. 

I held Jane as she cried  than Lisa woke up and hugged me too. I told her I was crying because I don't recall meeting Jane before even though I have pictures.

Lisa held me while Maura got dressed. Maura and I made breakfast while . Do you want to about Rizzoli blood  relatives if I know them? Yes.

I told Jane I knew her parents her two aunt's that are deceased along with Vincent Korsak, his brother Maxwell along  with Barry Frost's parents, her  deceased daughter, Julianne and niece Olivia.

Maura do you know my siblings, niece and their spouses? Yes.  Why didn't you tell me? I didn't want you to feel bad for forgetting so much.  When you got shot, you lost bits and pieces of your memories.  Thank you for caring enough but please don't keep anymore secrets from me. I won't. Lisa did you know this? I got to know several through you over the years as I would come here with you.

Lisa tells me who. I get mad at myself for not remembering and throw the coffee cup in the sink and it breaks.  I tell them to leave it and I pick it up and throw it away. I take my breakfast and eat it outside by myself. They gave me my space as I asked of them.

Maura this was alot for her. I know but at least she knows and there is nor more secrets. What was her daughter and niece like? They were so outgoing, beautiful and very giving.  They were successful in their careers and they owned their own businesses.  Julianne or as we sometimes called her baby girl was a well known architect and her older cousin, Carlo became business partners. She was a lesbian too and her house she had made was energy and green efficient before many knew about it. Her niece and daughter were very close. Olivia was Lisa Fox biological daughter with Vincent korsaks step daughter from one of his previous marriages before he married her aunt Kiki. Her aunt Izzy was married to Lisa for many years and accepted Olivia as her own over time.
So Joey knew about Izzy step daughter and her previous marriage? Yes.

I heard Maura telling Lisa all this. My heart broke more for not remembering all of this. I was so angry at the person who shot me years ago and it messed with NY memory when I fell and hit the ground and took all that away from me. I cannot be angry with Maura and my family nor relatives for not telling me. They were trying to spare me from pain.

Are you two ready to go bike riding? Yes once we clean up the kitchen.
Lisa thank you for making bacon and pancakes with strawberries and the coffee and dinner last night.  Your welcome. Jane let's go riding and go to look at some houses.  I would like to buy one or rent.  Lisa's home is lovely but is leased out for several years. Sure we can do that.

We cleaned the kitchen and got our guns and and placed them in our iwb holsters and took off on our bikes .
