I parked my custom made Lamborghini in the small parking lot of the small cafe I had gotten a job in.

I ran a hand through my wavy ponytail and entered the cafe. It was my first day and I was nervous as hell. I had never actually worked before, only helped the maids around the house sometimes.

The cafe was softly lit up by the sunlight entering from the glass walls and the bulbs which hung from the ceiling.

The cafe was small but it was beautifully built and decorated. A cafe you'd find in a five-star hotel.

The place was already packed. I gulped looking at so many people. Could I do this?

The real reason why I had picked this job was that I was really sick of everyone at school treating me as if I was a mindless brat. I wondered what they would think if they found out that I had straight A's in all of my classes.

Probably faint.

Some knew but most of them thought I somehow had hacked into the system or bribed the teachers.

I walked to the counter and sure enough, the nice lady who had hired me was sitting. She had asked to call her Miss Andrea, even though there was a ring on her finger, a giant one at that, which suggested that she was married. She had said something about pissing her husband off by keeping her maiden's name.

Needless to say, I liked her instantly.

She smiled at me as she saw me. Miss Andrea was a beautiful woman with a killer sense of humor. She looked old enough to be my dad's mom but you could tell that she still had a young heart.

"Hello, dear. You are early", she stated as she ushered me behind the wooden counter by opening some wooden entryway on the left of the counter which opened by a key. I smiled at her, she was shorter than me, maybe only five feet and because I was wearing five-inch heels she seemed even shorter.

I could live without food but I could never live without heels.

" I thought it'd be nice to get familiar with everything before starting the job", I said nervously. I could give kick-ass speeches as the student body president but this was something out of my comfort zone.

I had a list of the things out of my comfort zone and I planned on them before senior year ends.

The second last one was the hardest.

Tell everyone what happened to my mom. What actually happened and not that she had an accident.

She was murdered and she deserved to be remembered as the woman who she was. Strong, confident and unapologetically herself.

One could only dream to be half the woman she was.

Miss Andrea smiled at me. "Okay let me introduce you to your fellow staff later. We have only you and her as staff in the evening it gets quite busy. She is the barista". She pointed at the small touchscreen on the counter. " Just type the order there with the name of the customer, she'd make their drink and send it out by that". She motioned to the conveyor belt which was placed on the right side, near the wall. It circled around the counter. It was clear that the drinks would be sent out by that and that the customers could easily pick them up. A good thing there was a glass which surrounding the conveyor belt which eliminated the chances of children hurting themselves.

I looked back at Andrea who was still smiling at me. How could someone's smile be so genuine? She was like an angel. I scanned her clothes, okay. A very interesting angel. Miss Andrea had a habit of wearing neon colors (I had a feeling that she was Finn's grandmother). Today she was wearing a neon yellow top and pants with a neon green coat. A neon green hat on her grey hair and her shoes sparkly white.
