The next day Isla was discharged from the hospital. To say she was excited to get out of the hospital was an understatement. Isla hated hospitals just as much as her father did, if not more.
"Alright, let's go!" Isla said eagerly.
"I can say she is my brother's child," Will joked, noticing the similarities between his brother and niece.
"She's a clone of Jay, just a different gender," Hailey joked back, earning a 'seriously' look from her husband and picture.
"You're just jealous," Jay sassed at his wife, earning another round of chuckles from the entire family.
Hailey jokingly rolled her eyes at her husband before turning to Will, "Are those her discharge papers, Will?" Hailey asked, pointing at the papers in Will's hand.
Will nodded, handing Hailey the papers. "Just make sure you get a lot of rest, Isla; I'll be stopping by and checking in on you from time to time these next couple of weeks,"
Isla nodded at what her uncle told her. Will bid his goodbyes to his family, leaving the room to return to work.
"Can we go now?" Isla asked her parents, eager to get back home.
"Yeah, let's go home," Hailey responded.

The family returned home; Isla napped in her bedroom while Jay and Hailey landed on the couch watching a movie.
"She's going to be upset that she can't ride for a week," Hailey said, laying her head on her husband's shoulder.
"I know, but the good news is, no concussion or broken bones. Her having a week off of riding is just a precaution." Jay told his wife, kissing her on the top of her head before returning to the movie.
About halfway through the movie, Isla comes out to the living room, wrapped in her favorite blanket, plopping between Hailey and Jay. After making her parents move over to make enough room, she lays her head on Jay's shoulder.
"You comfy, munchkin?" Jay chuckles, looking down at his daughter, who looks like she's about to fall asleep again.
"Mmm," Isla responded, earning another chuckle from Hailey and Jay.
Isla was sound asleep seconds later, Jay moving her so her head was in his lap so he could play with his daughter's hair to help her stay asleep.
By the end of the movie, Hailey had fallen asleep as well. Jay chuckled, smiling in pure adoration of his wife and daughter sleeping on the couch. He put on another movie and ended up falling asleep during it.
~~~
"Isla, wake up; you'll be late for school?" Jay says, shaking Isla's shoulder.
