Between The Region

CHAPTER 7: Strong In Wrath

I rose to my seat from playing the piano, and the whole hall felt like fathomless silence. Millions of sidero (evil nymphs) from every corner of the nether region bowed their heads in respect to me.

This is my region and I am the prince with absolute and high power that no one can reach.

I recline in my seat, only to catch a whiff of something sweet that reminds me of someone I'm familiar with, but I can't find who it is in my mind.

Did someone intrude on my territory?

As I'm about to ask who the entered my place without my permission, the wide door in the hall suddenly swifts open, revealing my useless and damned brother.

I watched how he approached me, half naked. His skin was the color of umber and his eyes screamed boredom and warning. I can see the admiration from all the women who serve me because my goddamn brother is a beautiful sinner. Whoever looks into his will fall into temptation.

You've come to see me, my lovely brother? I spoke with mischief evident in my eyes as soon as he got near my seat.

You don't visit my abode for nothing, Akrosa. Am I right, brother?

"Father sent me to check on you." Akrosa spoke emotionless.

Oh, is he worried that I'm doing something that could be against him? I laugh.

"Alcmene, you only know that your father..."

" Oh yes! I already know all the damn words you're about to spit in my face, but can you do me a favor, will you? I said aggressively, and I saw all the shadows suddenly disappear, afraid that they would receive my wrath. "Tell him not to disturb me ever again!"

"But-"

Stop what you are about to say! My voice boomed through the walls. My fist began to shake, and my skin started to show some lines, and my form began to change because of the outrage.
I wanted to explode.

"Our father loves you, Alcmene." Akrosa said as he made his way to look at the paintings hanging in my hall.

"Love?! Do you call that "love"? "Casting his own son in this deep region for no reason, forcing me to rule all these tormented nymphs in perpetuity!" I flipped and slammed the piano into the wall, showing the outrage I felt.

"Alc-"

"You know what, brother, it's time for you to leave." making him feel that he and my father were not welcome at my abode.

I saw him take a deep breath and shake his head and said, " We are only doing this for you to be saved, and we are family here. The war is about to start. We should strengthen our region together so we can rule the whole sphere. "

I saw him slightly shivering, and within a second, only a black feather fell, confirming that someone was once there.

I suddenly began laughing as if I had lost my mind, but the truth is I was mocking my father because I know he can hear my irritated laugh.

I laugh at it all. Then I stopped laughing because I realized it wasn't enough to irritate my sweet father.

"Are you done laughing at yourself, my prince?" spoke a voice I knew so much.

"Morana." I turned to look at the tempting vixen and asked her to sit on my lap. Her voluptuous body and wavy hair lay against her back as she began to walk towards me with her hips swaying.

As soon as she sat on me, I encircled my arms around her and sniffed her alluring scent. This woman is my right hand, and she is to serve me as her superior even though I didn't need her services. She stayed on my side the moment my father kicked me out of the main region.

"Morana sweetheart, I think it's time to make a quick visit on top." I whisper in her ears, and she quivers slightly as I touch her earlobe.

" You mean with paradise, my prince? With a tempting voice, she said

"Them, exactly"
