Our first meeting was a bit uneventful.
Shomri said, "I'm going to meet her."
I heard that everyone was being summoned to the Lyceum Hall, or what mortals call a hall for public lectures or discussions, along with the others to discuss something so important that everyone was rushing and no one wanted to just stay still.Someone of them talked to me and knew that I was still new to this place, so they introduced themselves even though I couldn't remember them all, and after a few hours, I became increasingly bored.
My eyes were about to close from their never-ending debates about the impending war they were talking about and what steps they needed to take when the door of the Lyceum slammed open, revealing a woman wrapped in a cloak, trailing smoke, and everyone fell silent, except for Shomri, who appeared to have the courage to welcome the woman.
Everyone watched how she walked through the center of the Lyceum, removing her cloak and revealing the same face as the person who put me in this situation, and I was there sitting shocked.
Wait? What the hell? Is this woman the old lady?
Shomri told me after that surprise visit by the woman. Ah no, the old woman I met at the library said that she is rarely seen outside of her home.
She was unknown to most because she is the one who is currently in charge of all the Hansi, and Hansi is the name of the kind I belong to. Her business is always her own, and she never goes out, especially if it's not really important. Shomri also said that she's the right hand of the creator after the first right hand chose to betray the creator for her lover.
I nearly puked when I heard him say that it was only because of the lover that the kind was nearly wiped out, but deep inside, something in me felt the pain, but I chose to ignore it.
I leave Shomri in the hall and walk into the field. I got a book and a blanket into my hands, laid the blanket down, and stitched on it, and something in my mind came like a movie freely moving.
I saw myself in the middle of a green forest, looking for someone.
I took a deep breath and tried to relax my body.
"Preses" was the name I called, and I waited a few minutes and called again, but no one showed up.
Maybe he is busy. I said to myself and decided to just wait for him, but I waited till the sun began to go down before I saw myself with a hanging low shoulder picking up the books and leaving the blanket as I began to walk back.
I felt so sick waiting for him. Why did I ever expect him to come? I bet he had that damn woman in his lap! I converse with myself.
I saw myself fighting back tears as I was angry at not noticing the smoke drawing closer to me. I wanted to warn myself, but even if I shouted at the top of my lungs, she couldn't hear me.
I felt searing pain when the shadow's silhouette touched my arm. I tried to fight and scream, but it wouldn't let go.
