The battle was blurry, but Dawnfeather remembers the blood.....and the other warriors coming and trying to defeat the Riverclan warriors, but there were just too many. She barley remembers being carried off by Stripedclaw, seeing Ravenwing in the distance. Afraid of her close sister being dead, she sat up slowly praying to Starclan that she wouldn't have to say goodbye to her sister for the last time.
"Where is she.....?" said Dawnfeather weakly.
"Who?" asked Moonlight
"You know as well as I do who i'm talking about! Now where is she!" Dawnfeather hissed started to raise her voice.
"She's resting over there, but don't awake her. She needs all the rest she can get if she doesn't want to join Starclan tonight, and so do you!"
Taking the warning Dawnfeather dozed back to sleep. When she awoken, feeling much stronger, she let out a sight of relief when she saw Ravenwing training her young apprentice. Dawnfeather had always wanted an apprentice, thought she didn't complain because she was expecting to mentor the next batch of young apprentices.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey please meet us by highrock-" Scarstar howled as he started to call a clan meeting.
"Finally! I can't remember the last time we had a clan meeting! Then again I can remember the last time we needed one..." Dawnfeather thought as she joined the clan at highrock.
As she saw the two kits with Scarstar, she hoped she would get to mentor them. She saw Sweethearts(Scarstar's daughter) kits up there, Icekit and Skykit.
"As you know my Daughters kits are old enough to become apprentices, and these warriors have been waiting since they've become warriors for the perfect apprentices, so I've chosen these warriors to teach these soon to be apprentices to teach them what they have been taught. Thornpelt will mentor Skypaw and Dawnfeather will mentor Icepaw, this clan meeting is over."
Dawnfeather grew with excitement as she, Thornpelt, Icepaw, and Skypaw were congratulated. Dawnpelts dream finally came true, to have an apprentice!
