With Day of the Dawn a few days away, Thunderclan was worried, but ready. Dawnfeather awoke as Scarstar called a clan meeting.

"All cat's who are old enough to catch their own prey-" Scarstar began

"Great, what is it this time?" Ravenwing moaned as she sat up and walked over to high rock.

Half-asleep, Dawnfeather followed.

"Moonlight have brought me news from Starclan. On the day of the Dawn, we shall meet the other clans at Riverclan's river for battle. I will choose who will go and who will stay and guard the camp the night I choose who will go to the gathering. You may go on with your duties." Scarstar finished.

"At least we know where to go." Dawnfeather said thankfully to Skyheart.

"Yea.....I just don't want my kits to go..." SkyHeart said worryingly.

"Nightpaw and Robinpaw? They are newly apprentices, and if Scarstar is the leader I know, he will leave most of the apprentices here with a few warriors to look after them. So if I were you, I wouldn't worry!" Dawnfeather assured.

"Thanks..." Skyheart said quietly as he walked away.

"Hey! Ravenfur!" Dawnfeather called out, "Wanna come on a patrol with me?

"Um....sure" Ravenwing replied

A they pasted the river and saw Riverclan hunt, Dawnfeather thought of all the blood that would spill and all the fights that would break out.

Dawnfeather saw the fear in her sister's eyes . Ravenwing was especially sensitive when it comes to death, so she knew that this day would be harder for her than for anyone else . She prayed to Starclan that her sister wouldn't have to witess the Day of the Dawn, and just guard the camp instead.

As they were returning from camp from a long patrol, Dawnfeather new that Ravenwing, her close sister, was not ready for the Day of the Dawn.
