Dawnfeather and the Clans were prepared, after Rain left, the clan trained like never before, realizing that what Rain said was true, that we might not survive.
One less mouth to feed, on less claw to fight Dawn feather thought as her and Ravenwing came back with their apprentices from a hunting patrol.
"Rain was fun when she was a kit, it's sad to see what she's turned into." Ravenwing growled of hunger as she put the dead mouse in the pile.
"Thats all you have to think about?!" Volepaw snapped, "Losing a traitor?! Day of the Dawn is TOMORROW! we should be working out a battle plan! Not mourning over a traitor!"
"Volepaw!" Dawnfeather hissed, "How dare you talk to your mentor like that? We're all prepared for tomorrow! even the kits know where to hide if the fight spreads to the camp! everyone knows where to and when! right now we have time to mourn! Even if it is a traitor, better now than in battle."
Volepaw's anger turned into surprise, as he's never seen Dawnfeather this angry.
"Now go feed the elders before I make you pick their ticks!" Dawnfeather hissed again as Volepaw sprinted into the elder's den with fresh-kill.
"He's right you know," Icepaw looked at Dawnfeather with concern, "Day if the Dawn is our top priority, we don't need anything else to mourn for. "
"Let's go train." Dawnfeather growled, ignoring her apprentice, "We need to be ready."
