"Love will set you free,"

House Beneviento, Romanian Village:

As Donna Beneviento looks through her living room window, she watches the sunshine from the Mountain. The warmth and brightness shine across the Village, as the people go about their daily lives. Clearing out the snow, and planting new seeds to grow crops and plants to replace the festering mold that plagued the town for decades. The Villagers, in an unprecedented sense of joy, continue to celebrate their newly found freedom from the manipulation of Mother Miranda and the corruption of the Megamycete. A dangerous organic substance that catalogs every individual who comes into contact with it after they die. Which Miranda would use to create dangerous and deadly monsters acting on murderous instinct and upon her command. The Four Lords, infected with Cadou Parasites, would act as Miranda's enforcers and act as her adoptive children. Donna, dressed in a warm fluffy navy blue robe as opposed to her cold silky black dress, bows her head in silence. Contemplating the events that have transpired since the arrival of Ethan Winters. Before they met, Donna was an emotionally broken woman who was unable to let go of the pain from losing her family. After her encounter with Mother Miranda, she was forced to do the Matriarch's bidding for a century. The terrible and unspeakable deeds she did in her adoptive Mother's name brought Donna great shame in her heart. Recalling how she used the flowers that grew in her garden to lure innocent people to her home. Using them as test subjects for new flowers that cause hallucinations. Then, she'd kill them using her dolls and the creature living in her basement to cover her tracks. Despite Donna's considerable progress in her work, she was often mocked by her two older siblings, Alcina Dimitrescu and Karl Heisenberg, fellow lords of the Village who saw her as a weak link in the chain compared to them. Despite all the horrible acts Donna has done, she is happy because she has a new purpose in life. Instead of being a tormentor, she is now a healer. Using her gifts and her work to help people recover from their physical and mental trauma. Donna's more joyful than ever, since she married Ethan Winters and became a stepmother to his infant daughter, Rosemary. For the first time in Donna Beneviento's life, the opportunity to make restitution for all the harm she caused; A second chance that is rarely offered.

She looks down at her hand, staring at the golden ring on her finger; Symbolizing her marriage to Ethan. Her thoughts begin to dwell on her husband, as tears of joy flow from her eyes. What was not to love about Ethan? He's a good man with a kind heart and a devoted Father. Something that Donna loves about him dearly. A man she never expected to meet or relate to in any way or feel physically attracted to; Given his good looks and his strong figure. To think that Mother Miranda would seek to harm Ethan Winters or his child was something Donna couldn't allow to happen. Donna sighs as she smiles, feeling terrified and excited at the life she and Ethan will have. Donna Beneviento hears the tiny footsteps of a doll who walks up to her. Donna turns around and looks down at the floor. Spotting both her white bunny slippers and her companion, Angie, a doll sporting a wedding dress and still as unstable as ever. Angie raises her head and looks Donna in the eye.

"Hi, Donna," Angie greets warmly. "How are you?" Donna smiles at Angie; Grateful that her little friend is here to keep her company.

"I'm fine, Angie," Donna replies. She looks around the room, wondering where Ethan is.

"Have you seen Ethan?" Donna inquires. Angie nods at Donna.

"He said he'd be out in a minute," Angie replies. "He's just checking on Rose to make sure she's okay," Donna nods, as her thoughts dwell on Rosemary. The cutest and tiniest little thing Donna ever set her eyes on.

"Of course," Angie looks down at Donna's hand, staring at her ring. Angie giggles while looking at Donna's ring. Even if she wouldn't admit it to Donna, Angie feels rather jealous of her companion. While being happy at the same time that Donna has found true love.
