Cemetary, Beneviento Estate:
It has been two months since Ethan Winters and his daughter were given to Donna Beneviento. While the labor Ethan did was aching, he started to gain Donna's trust slowly. As for Donna, without the other lords or Miranda being aware of it, the Doll Maker's attachment to Ethan and Rosemary grew. Despite what Mother Miranda told her, Donna was fascinated by Ethan and found him strangely attractive. It was not his looks or his strength that caught her eye. It was his heart and his personality instead. Donna was not known for judging people based on their looks or how strong they seemingly were. Nothing else mattered as long as they had a good moral compass and treated others with kindness and dignity. Ethan was a caring and passionate person who cared for his Daughter and Mia. Then again, there was something else Donna saw in Ethan. She didn't understand it and was keen to find out what it was. Unfortunately, her telepathy could only do so much, and she required Mother Miranda's insight since Miranda herself was a doctor in her previous life. Right now, Mother Miranda was busy with her experiments and was not available to help Donna find the answers she was looking for. It did not matter because Donna had some work to do. Today was March 28th, and it was a sad day for the Doll Maker. She is seen outside of her house tending to her garden. She had a reputation for having a green thumb, which gave her peace. Something she did not get much when she visited the Factory or Castle Dimitrescu. The reason why she was gardening was because she needed to plant new flowers over her family's grave.
It was hard for Donna to go near the tomb since the pain of losing her family still hurts very deeply to this day. Her beloved parents committed suicide when she was a little girl, and her sister 'Claudia' died soon afterward (1987-1995).
As Donna placed the flowers on the Tomb, tears flowed from her eyes. She looks at the names embedded on the stones. She sighs as she whispers a prayer. She hoped that wherever her family's souls were now, it would be a much better place than where she was.
Suddenly, Donna is approached by another person. She turns around, and it's a male. She rolls her eyes, as she wipes away the tears. It was Karl Heisenberg, and Donna was hoping it he someone else, Ethan Winters perhaps.
"Hiya Donna," said Heisenberg. "How is it going?". Donna was never impressed with Karl Heisenberg's greetings.
"It is... nice to see you too, Karl," replied Donna softly.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you were tending to your family's tomb," said Karl as he looked at the graves.
"If you want, I can come back," Karl Heisenberg was not known for being considerate of others, not even of his fellow lords. Yet, not once could he disrespect the dead.
"No, it is fine," said Donna, sniffing to keep her tears back. "Mother Miranda did not instruct me to be a little bitch," Karl Heisenberg couldn't take Donna speaking down on herself. That was his job.
"Hey, come on, Donna, we all have our emotions," Donna knew Karl wasn't too sincere about what he said, but it did not matter.
"Karl," said Donna, extending her hand up as if she was halting the lord of the factory before he could finish his sentence.
