Great Morning Before Adventure

The next day ~~~

I woke up early in the morning to hear knocking on my door. I quickly got dressed and flung a piece of jam on it in my mouth.

I caught it significantly surprised. I opened my door to see Bennett standing there his eyes full of confusion with his hand in a thinking position on his face. It made his cheeks seems very chubby. I couldn't help but laugh. He smiled at me and put his hand down and instead placed it behind his head.

"I thought I knocked on the wrong door"

He chuckled at what he said. I also chuckled with him.

"Have you had any breakfast?" My words where very muffled since I had food in my mouth. It more sounded like, "hafe yo haf anfy breafafst"

He seemed to know what I said because he sighed and said no. I looked at him and his tummy rumbled. I hadn't eaten much of the bread to I split it in half giving him a bigger side. I passed the bread to him.

"Thank you!"

He declared taking the bread from my hand. He put it hanging in his mouth like I had. He smiled. His smiled were so nice to see. It made my heart pound in my chest. I needed to clear my head! I can't keep thinking this!

He's just a friend... just a friend!

"We should go now!" I exclaimed.

He nodded and we headed down the stairs of Monstadt. Crossing over the bridge we scared away Timmies pigeons with him screaming at us I explained that they'll come back and that were dearly sorry. He turned around clearly not pleased and started to feed the ducks.

After that fight we started to head towards the snow mountain. But went around it. I pulled out my map leading us towards Monstadts border.

"Once we cross this path..." I started " we'll be in liyue.. we'll not the city"

Bennett and I held hands finally crossing over Monstadt. We opened our eyes. Relaxing our shoulders we glanced at eachother. Bennett gave a shy smile towards me and I returned it.

I let go of his soft hand and headed towards the many flowers. I picked a few and he started to join me. We had so many things to adventure in liyue!

The sun started to set and we had managed to get to wangshu in realising this wouldn't be a 1 day trip. I walked over to the lady there and asked for a room.

"We do have a room but..." she drifted off looking at Bennett, "it's a one person room." I looked at Bennett and he just smiled.

"That's ok we'll take it" thankfully I brought mora. The lady then lead us towards our room. We set our stuff down.

"I want to try the food here!" Bennett shouted

The food?

I thought. I heard it's really spicy.

"Yeah sure" I said. Bennett took my hand and pulled me along and towards the door. We had set ourselves on the balcony enjoying the view. I hadn't noticed he kept glancing at me as I looked at the many beautiful things in liyue.

I didn't regret taking Bennett with me. Even though we did get lost a few times, it was worth it. I caught him looking at me and his whole face turned as bright as his vision. Our visions started to flash in the same rhythm.

"It was doing this last night" Bennett sighed. I stared at him eyes wide. He didn't realise until he looked up at me shocked he fell off his chair. I jumped up straight away and helped him up.

"Damn bad luck!" He shouted.
