To The City

Bennett Pov

I woke up to find y/n sleeping on the edge of the bed, fast asleep. At least she looked comfy I shouldn't disturb her. She looked peaceful. Her hair gently swayed in the cool breeze that flew through.

I softly moved off the bed. I shouldn't just leave her there! My instincts made me scoop her up and place her softly on the bed. She didn't move or anything so she must be a deep sleeper. I swept the covers over her sleeping body and stroked her cheek.

I finally removed my hand. I'm sure if she's asleep she won't mind me getting dressed. I- hope not. I started to undress from my PJS. Searching for my shorts,shirt and belt etc. Putting on my shorts I noticed that one of the belt straps were broken.

Sighing I ignored it and plan to fix it later. I threw on my shirt and accessories. Y/n was still asleep by the time I finished. It seemed like it was possible 6 am. We had to get going! I started to jab her cheeks. Since she didn't seem a bit awake I thought shaking her would do the trick.

I grabbed her waist and started to shake. Her eyes started to flutter open as she groaned. She looked back at me with her gleaming e/c eyes. Her lips parted as she said.

"Sorry for sleeping-" she yawned at the end. I gave her a thumbs up. I think she realised I was dressed because she stood up straight away.

"I'll get dressed! Could u wait outside?" She pushed me outside the door closing it behind me. I stared at the door. It had wooden ridges and a light brown tint to it. I placed both my hands behind my neck. Waiting for her patiently the door opened. She had all her stuff ready.

We gave each other a smile before we headed down. We then had left Wanshu inn and y/n grabbed the map. We headed multiple directions getting lost a few times by me- but she kept reminding me that's it's ok. 'The more we adventure the more we know!'

She kept on repeating those words whenever we were lost. Finally peeking out of the trees we could see the Liyue city! Y/n's eyes gleamed in the sun. She seemed so happy. I mean- I was as well of course!

Im so glad I could do this with her.

"Cmon lets go!" I shouted at her. I took her hand and ran down the stairs towards the city. We started to explore the wonders of being in liyue and learning about it to! We held each other's hand the whole time.

She said that she needed to get something and told me to meet her where the big round of trees were. I sat down wondering what she's doing hopefully she won't get hurt. She's special to me... but I don't know when I can really tell her that-

"I'm back!" I heard y/n voice behind me. I looked behind and smiled at the beautiful figure. She was holding some flowers. Sitting down next to me she picked one and propped it behind my ear in my hair.

I touched the flower gently and smiled at her.

"Thank you. It's beautiful" I whispered to her. She was still holding the flowers in her palms as if they were such a precious thing. I couldn't help but do the same to her. I picked up the flower and just before I put it in her hair I tucked some away. Her cheeks were dusted red.

I could feel my whole face turn bright red.

I then worriedly said "sorry!"

I shouldn't have just done it I should always check. She smiled, "it's ok really!" A smile crept along my face and she returned the smile even bigger. If we do part, I'm sure going to miss her.
