After the love filled air yesterday night it was time to leave. I had awoken to find Bennett chest facing my way as I had hidden my face in the blankets. It seemed he was still asleep so I took my time to start pack my items.
As soon as I had finished Bennett awoke to the sound of my backpack closing. It seemed he already had his stuff packed.
"Good morning y/n!" He yawned.
"Good morning Bennett"
It was nice to see him still smiling. He had gotten up and walked over to me. He bring me into a hug.
"Thank you for letting me come. I'm glad I could go with you"
His words sank into my heart as I got butterflies in my stomach. All the feelings wrapped my heart, wanting me to kiss him more every second. We released each other and looked deep into each other eyes. I swear I saw a flick of light skid across his emerald eyes, making them glitter in the sunlight.
In gave him a reassuring smile and took his hand. Throwing on our backpacks we started to head towards the restaurant. After eating out breakfast, the journey back started again.
Few hours later ( Im getting really lazy now)
Bennett suddenly stopped before we crossed to Monstadt. I looked at him confused. He looked at the ground.
"N/n can I- tell you something?" He stuttered while saying that.
"Sure" I said in a very brave voice. He kept avoiding looking up.
"I-I really like y-you" he whispered softly just enough that I could hear. My eyes widened I possible looked disgusted but inside I was truly happy. My stomach was doing backflips as I stepped closer to him. He finally looked up. His whole face was as red as a tomato.
My cupped his cheeks and built up confidence to kiss him lightly on the lips. I could feel my whole face burning. He moved in shock but then steadied. He then wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me in closer and went deeper into the kiss. Our lips released each other as we needed to breathe.
We rested our fore heads on each other as we stared into each other's eyes again.
"I love you" I finally said as it slipped through my lips. He smiled at that and replied,
"Love you too"
