Dearly Sorry

" Damn bad luck!" He shouted

I could see the tears about to pour. He must've hit himself pretty hard.

"Are you ok?" I asked concerned. That's when the tears came. He looked down and his eyes clouded. I didn't know what to do. My brain was running laps struggling to figure out what to do. I scrunched my eyebrows. More tears poured down. He looked so sad but.... Cute. UGH. I pulled him into my chest hoping it would make time for me to think.

He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around my waist. His tears started to dry as he got up from his sitting position and wrapped his whole body around me. His legs were crossed around my body and his arms around my back. I realised on the ground there was a broken plate

He sat on the plate. It must've hurt a lot

"Thank you" he managed to whisper, "and sorry" he shouldn't be sorry. God he can be so selfless he needs to care for himself more.

"Bennett, you need to worry about yourself more. You sat on a plate!" I checked his pants (butt if u will ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) glass was everywhere and also the meal. I couldn't help but pick off the large pieces. He moved his head so he could see what I was doing.   I noticed he knew what I was doing and I stopped.

"Sorry for scaring you and uh-" you started to speak but he interrupted you by getting off of you and pressing a finger to ur mouth. You looked at him confused. He released his finger and stood up and put a hand in front of you smiling. His cheeks were still streaked from the tears.

You gladly took his hand he pulled you up. You dusted your shorts and then suddenly warm arms wrapped you. You put your arms around Bennett. His hugs are so nice. He pulled you in closer his arms still around your waist. You cloaked each other in warmth but not wanting it to stop.. it had to. You released each other and stared into your eyes. His green eyes were glossy from the crying.

You tilted your head and smiled. He smiled back then checked his pants which still had glass and food.

"Awwww no Biggy!" He shouted. I looked at him confused once again. He smiled and thanked the chief for the food. Taking my hand and leaving a trail of glass on the floor while heading to the room.

"Could you wait outside?" He asked. I nodded. It took about 30 mins til he opened the door wearing PJS.

"Sorry i took so long!" He was holding his dirty shorts on his left arm. He then headed out to wash them and I just simple said "I'll get dressed when your gone"

I don't know if he heard you but hoped he did. You shut the door anyways and got dressed quickly if he didn't. As I finished buttoning up your shirt the door slammed open. Surprised a little EEK escaped your mouth. Bennett laughed at the noise he called 'cute'.

It was getting super dark so you stared at the stars that appeared at the night sky. You couldn't see this in the city. Bennett was beside me almost falling asleep.

"It's ok if you sleep" I said to him. He looked at me with his tired eyes and closed them. He was still sitting up before he fell asleep on my shoulder. I stiffened then relaxed. He started to snore.

Dribble started to form from his mouth and drip. I knew by now he was fully asleep. I took him and set him down onto the bed. It was a single.

Thats ok. I'll sleep next to the bed.

I sat next to the bed and layed my head on it. My arms also hung on the bed. I closed my eyes drifting off to sleep once again.
