We crept out into the dimly lit hallway and I quickly checked both sides before stepping out. There was no way I was gonna be psycho food!

"Where are we going to get food from?" George asked loudly.

You know those moments in life where a face palm is needed? Yeah, well that was one of those moments...

"Shhh!"

He held up both his hands in a sign of apology. After I had checked both ends of the corridor AGAIN I motioned for him to follow me, quietly!

We crept slowly down the corridors until we reached some violet-coloured double doors.

"In here." I whispered, motioning to the doors.

I pushed on one of them, and surprisingly, it opened. Me and George crept in together, eyes flitting around the large cafeteria... No one here.

My first instinct was to flick on the light, which of course, didn't work. "Damn!" I cursed, thumping the wall.

"Thats alright... We can still see." George said, sounding terrified.

I rolled my eyes and wandered into the kitchen, hearing George step in behind me.

Suddenly there was a loud clank and I heard George scream, spinning around I saw the lanky boy staring wide eyed at a saucepan he had just knocked off the counter...

"Really?!"

"Sorry! I knocked it over by accident!" he apologised in a hushed tone.

I let out a sigh, "Why did you even come with me? I could have done this a million times quieter alone!" I complained angrily.

George looked down at the floor and began rubbing his shoe on the tiles... With one last glare at the boy, I set about filling my pockets with different foods.

I suddenly felt a hand on my waist, "Such a pretty little thing, aren't we?" a sinister voice said in my ear.

Most girls in this situation would turn round and scream their heads off at the attacker, accidentally deafening them in the process and scramble away rather unsuccessfully, just to be intercepted at a later moment... But since when have I been most girls?

I grabbed the can of beans I had just been about to drop in my pocket, spun round and struck him in the head with such force that he fell to the floor with a thud.

"Your not getting me that easily psycho!" I yelled at Sean, who was limp on the tiles.

I didn't know if he could hear me, but I really couldn't care less! Stepping quickly over the creepy dude I'd just knocked unconscious I decided I'd better get out of there, before he woke up...

"George, I've go--"

That's when I saw him... George's lifeless body was slumped up against the far wall. Bloody handprints covered that wall, along with crimson splatters. But the worst injury by far, was the giant chunk of his neck that was missing...

Trying to keep my empty stomach from emptying on the shiny floor, I quickly lurched for the purple doors when a shadow blocked my way.

"And where are you going?" Michael's deep voice questioned me.

"Back to my friends." I told him.

He shook his head, "Stop running Skye..."

I stepped around him, expecting him to grab me, but he didnt... I got to the doors and took one last look back at George's dead body.

Michael was now crouching over the lanky boy, looking terrifying.

"Poor George..." I whispered into the darkness as tears fell from my eyes.

I wasted no more time and ran, full speed, back to the classroom. When I burst in, tears in my eyes, both Dan and Carlie looked up at me with wide eyes... Then they realised.

Dan stood up, "He's dead?"

When I nodded, my friend walked over and let me cry into his dark blue t-shirt.

"Food?"

My vision was tainted red as I span round to glare at Carlie, "George just died and your more bothered about the food?!" I yelled.

Dan locked the door and placed a hand on my shoulder, "She doesn't get it Skye... Just ignore her."

I plunged my hand into my pocket, only to bring a packet of cheese out seconds later, "Here! Have it!" I shouted, throwing the packet at her with such force that she squealed as it hit her, square in the face.

"You b*tch!" she screeched at me.

Ignoring the insult, I turned back to Dan and began crying again... I'd witnessed way to many deaths here already, and I had a feeling this wouldn't be the last...
