"You seem, happy."

Mary Jane turned around and came face to face with Harry and Gwen.

They were walking up to her while she was at her locker getting her books for her next class. Harry's comment kind of through her off for a second before she quickly responded.

"What do you mean I seem happy? I'm not some heartless bitch Harry, I can be happy if I want to." MJ rolled her eyes.

"Yeah but, ever since the beginning of school you've had this certain... glow to you, and it hasn't gone away. I brushed it off at just excitement for this years musicals and stuff like that... but..." Harry trailed off, not sure how to continue with this conversation.

Mary Jane tried really hard to fight the blush that wanted to spread across her face, thanks to her being called out by her friends.

So maybe she was a little bit more happier than she usually was, but she couldn't help it, okay!!

Ever since meeting Peter, she's felt so light and she honestly thinks that these past 2 months is the most she has laughed since she was a little kid.

His attitude and humor most likely would make people try and avoid him. His snarky and sarcastic personality and his dark humor, he'd most likely be an outcast in school, like her.

Some may be confused as to why she isn't the most popular women in school but to the contrary she's actually a social outcast.

You see, people only wanted to speak to her because of her looks. Other than that, people want nothing to do with her. Her cold attitude towards strangers might be a little confusing to people, since she is such an attractive young woman.

She gets complements from her classmates all the time. About how her hair is so beautiful, the way the red glows and glistens in the sunlight, how she's in great shape, and even complements about her eyes a couple times.

Which is super weird, who goes up to someone and says your eyes are super pretty? I mean, seriously, "super pretty?" That's the best they could come up with?

Anyways, the point she's trying to make is both of them have similar personalities and they just get along really well. She enjoys spending time with Peter.

They just... click

Anyways all the effort she put into trying to make sure the blush didn't spread across her face was for nothing when she thought about all those feeling for her best friend.

The second she looked up to her friends eyes, she knew that they saw it spread, which only caused her too blush even more.

Harry started to snicker at her which only made her glare back at him, while Gwen tried to hold her laughter.

"What!?" She said defensively, tucking a strand of her red hair behind her ear.

"Girl, you've got it bad. So, who's the lucky guy?" Harry asked with a smile and a raised eyebrow.

"No but, honestly, who is it?" Gwen asked almost demanded, with an uncontrollable smile.

"He... he doesn't come to this school. He's...kind of homeschooled, but he's already at a college level of learning so that's what he learns about. He already has his diploma." She said, still with the blush across her face.

Harry quirked his eyebrow and an amused smile spread across his face.

"Ok, so are you gonna quite with the backstory and tell me what his name is?" He asked.

"Um...P-Peter... Peter that's his name." She silently cursed herself for stuttering like that in front of her friends.

"No last name?"
