Its nine am in the morning and Felix is finishing up on setting the breakfast table putting the last plate of pancakes when he feels two hands snaking around his waist and is immediately filled with his Alphas pheromones.
"Morning Chanie" he says turning around giving Chan a kiss.
"Morning my love why didn't you wake me so I could help you with breakfast?" Chan says as he continues to bask in his omegas scent that he missed this past weekend as he had gone to the capital for some scholarly meeting as a top scholar in Laventer .
"I thought you were tired since you came home late last night and I didnt want to disturb you ,Anyway go and wake the kids up I'm sure they miss you"

Chan's POV
I head to JeongIn's room first and knock
"Come in " the younger answers and upon seeing me at the door he immediately shows his handsome smile and welcomes me into his room.
"Good morning dad, and I missed u " he says pouting.
"Morning Innie ,I missed you too .Were you good to your mother while I was gone?" I ask him.
"Yea I was good , didn't get into trouble"
"En that's good, it shows you're maturing" I say patting his shoulder.
"But dad I've always been mature , I'm sixteen years old and im taller than Hyunjin Hyung" he puffs his chest out standing straight and i can see the pride in him .
"OK then big alpha let's go and wake your brother up" I pull him out of his room .We head to Hyunjins room to see him coming out fixing his hair and he notices us immediately pouncing on me and i catch him.
"Father you're back" he says sniffing my neck as my fatherly pheromones make him feel safe and comfortable.
"Yes I'm back and good morning to you too" I remind him and he giggles.
"Sorry, Good morning father and morning Innie " he gets off me and holds my hand.
"Morning Hyung" JeongIn says fixing Hyunjins hair at the back. Most people might think that JeongIn is the oldest due to his Alpha build and the way he cares and protects his brother like he's the younger one but it makes me smile knowing that my family gets along well because in some family's omegas aren't treated so well.

The family of four gather around the table with various breakfast dishes emitting a delicious aroma which leads them to start eating in harmony with Chan sharing stories of his journey to the capital .
As they are finishing up a knock sounds from the front door which Chan goes thinking its the Lee's,upon opening the door he realizes his thoughts were far fetched as the guests were soldiers or maybe knights with palace badges on them which could only mean one thing .
Chan POV
'Imperial Guards' I think to myself wondering what could have happened for them to show up on my doorstep .
"Annyeong Haseyo" I greet them with respect as everyone knows that disrespecting them is like disrespecting the palace itself.
"Annyeong Bang Ssi, is your family in?" The one in front with yellow blonde hair speaks .
"Yes please come in and follow me" I usher them into the house thinking maybe its about my brother in law Changbin who joined the secret army a year ago, or maybe JeongIn did offend someone and they are from the royal family .
There has been an instance where JeongIn offended a prime minister regarding Hyunjin but luckily the Alpha didn't make a ruckus and just left in peace after an apology.
We arrive at the sitting area
"Please call your family here Mr Bang" the leader i assume says.
"Felix, Hyunjin and JeongIn! please come to the living room" I call them from the kitchen with Felix in front with all his grace and the kids after him bickering about something.
"Annyeong Haseyo" they greet the guests.
"Since you are all here you shall kneel as I read the Kings order" the knight says shocking me and I see Felix is surprised as well, so we kneel listening to the imperial decree.

His royal Highness declares that the oldest son of the Bang family- Bang Hyunjin omega aged 18 shall be betrothed to to his son the Crown Prince Alpha Kim Jungkook from this day forward .The royal palace looks forward to building ties with the Bangs and hopes everything shall go according.
Failure to adhere to the imperial decree the Bang Family head shall be imprisoned and punished for going against the crown.

As knight Hoseok finished reading the imperial decree cold sweat was evident on Chan whilst Felix shaking hands were holding Hyunjins shaking ones ,and JeongIns were clenched in front of him but his face was devoid of any emotions.
"I knight Hoseok have delivered the imperial decree from the palace,Also we are leaving with you at one O'Clock noon today for the palace which leave you three hours to pack your belongings .Please be aware that we must leave on time so that we can make it to the betrothal ceremony early, I'm sure you know by now that running away is not an option. I'll take my leave and leave a few servants to aid you with packing and a carriage for your belongings" with that Knight Hoseok walks out with his two subordinates.
