Jungkook POV

Seems like the saying 'The older you get the wiser you become'  is indeed true seeing how my grandmother saw through my love facade I was putting up for Hyunjin. But I'm not her I won't ignore Hyunjin to the point where he won't care about me, I'll manipulate his little fragile heart to care and depend on me only.

Imagine that pretty face of his crying because of me but then thinking he must've done something wrong. Poor thing will be dancing in the palm of my hands.

"Crown Prince Jungkook" I hear a familiar voice calling, causing me to halt in my steps.

"Greetings to the Crown Prince" the man salutes then stands at ease.

"Ahh, Prime Minister Chanyeol I was wondering when you were going to show up" I say continuing on my walk causing him to follow one step behind me.

"This minister has been busy Crown Prince, but I wouldn't dare miss your wedding. Let alone the engagement ceremony I was there yesterday"

"Hmm it would indeed be disrespectful of you to miss such occasions" I say stopping at the royal garden filled with different types of flowers.

"This official knows his place"

"I heard that you had an eye on the omega I'm marrying a few months back" I say comely and i see his eye twitch in the corner of my eye causing me to smirk.

"It was my bad luck that I was rejected your highness and its been a long time. I've moved on" he says his voice sounding a bit stressed than it normally is.

"I really hope you've moved on, it wouldn't be good for you if you aren't. Imagine me gorging your eyes out because you stared at My Omega a second more than you should have" I emphasize on the words my omega so that he can know his place.

"This lowly official would not dare" he says bowing to me before one of his subordinates comes to call him for something.

"Remember my words Chanyeol" I say before I walk away leaving him and his person.

Chanyeol POV

"Sir, Prime Minister Min Yoongi is calling for your presence in his office" my subordinate says causing me snap out of my daze.

"I'll go by myself you can leave" I say turning in the direction of Min Yoongis office.

Tch can't believe the prince has threatened me because of Hyunjin, I don't believe he has fallen in love with the beauty as much as I have. Jungkook can have any omega or alpha he wants but he chose the one I'm interested in (sighs) what a pity.

Author POV

In another part of the palace Hyunjin was getting his first lesson on being a good virtuous wife and crown princess to the people should he choose to meddle in the crowns affairs.

"The first rule at being a good wife is to always put your husband first" an elderly omega man says to which the others agree.

"You must tend to his needs before you tend to your own, and always be by his side when he's going through a tough time" the Queen adds sipping his green tea leisurely .

"This little one understands" Hyunjin says bowing down to receive the teachings.

"The second rule is to always know your place, no matter how good your husband treats you never cross the line to disrespect him. After all he's of royal blood and you're a commoner" elderly  omega Hwasa says as a matter of fact .

But that line makes Hyunjin frown with discontent in his heart, he knew he was a commoner and Jungkook was a prince but that didnt mean that they could belittle him because of his status . So he just sighs and nods in understanding.

Another thing is that he doesn't think he'll ever be courageous to disrespect Jungkook after all the other was an alpha who could suppress him with harsh pheromones if he wanted and he would never win a physical fight that's for sure.

"The third rule is to never show your dirty linen in public. No matter how big or how much he hurts you, you must never do it in the public eye were people will be having breakfast with your names"

"The matters of ones home never leave the door" Hyunjin answers back to which the elders nod in satisfaction.

"Don't forget about intimacy" another omega elder says to which Hyunjin ears start turning red in shyness .

"Yes yes , never say no when your husband wants to do it otherwise you're opening the door for concubines and beauties which will end in an internal battle between the family for power and positions. Especially if there are offsprings involved" elder Hwasa says which makes the rest of them nod in agreement and others sigh in sadness as their husbands have taken concubines and they are always scheming each other.

"B-but what if i-i refuse for him to take in concubines" the younger asks not liking the thought of Jungkook bringing another omega or beta home.

"You think you have a say in what my son wants, you're not even married and you're thinking about controlling him. ..Tch" the Queen says in a harsh tone banging his tea cup on the table.

"I-im sorry I crossed the line, please forgive this little one" Hyunjin apologized bowing to the Queen several times before Jin waved his hand to show forgiveness and mercy.

Hyunjin didn't think that him saying his opinion out loud would cause such a reaction, but in truth he had hoped that Jungkook would turn out like his father and the King to only stick to one wife. He didn't want the burden of always questioning himself if he wasn't good enough for his alpha.

With a sigh he continues to listen to the rules and this time minding his words and responses to it all.
