16.The Grand Wedding

Jungkook POV

The gong sounds bring me out of my thoughts as I see the handmaids assigned to me already done with dressing me up for the grand occasion.

Adorned in luxurious blood worm silk clothing with gold embroidery, a black stone jade hairpin I look to see my handsome self in the mirror and I'm satisfied with how I look.

"You can leave" I command the handmaids who adhere to my order without question.

I smirk already thinking about me and my supposedly love on our wedding night, I feel my third leg twitching at the thought. It's a pity that I don't love that beautiful porcelain face (sigh) but he's still mine anyway.

Knock! Knock!

A knock pulls me out of my happy thoughts which has me irritated,

"What!" I almost growl.

"Bad mood on your wedding day already " knight Hoseok says entering my room.

"I was in a good mood till you disturbed me" I answer back as he just shrugs his shoulder and mutters a 'sorry' before coming before me to check whether there's anything wrong with my hanfu which there isn't.

"OK since everything is good here we need to head to the palace gates so you can bring your bride into the palace, then you know what's happening after"

"En" with that we head to the palace gates with Hoseok on his Stallion which is white in color, and today it even looks more stunning in a matching gold armor with its rider but I'll never tell him that.

I on the other hand I'm in a wooden and golden sedan with dragon carvings, its a bit too extravagant for my taste but today it was a must.

A few minutes after arriving at the gate i see my omegas carriage arriving with its entourage.

Hyunjin POV

I feel my palms sweating as i nervously sit in the carriage prepared for me by the palace, it was finally happening today I was becoming Prince Jungkooks omega and the Crown Childe of the whole kingdom,

'Is it too late to run away?' I ask myself as the jitters get to me but I remember that running means implicating my family and I don't want my father to go to jail. With that in mind I try to calm myself down and sniff the moon scent sachet Grandma Soo gifted me last time and it calms my nerves in an instant like magic.

The twenty minute journey to the palace feels shorter than yesterday as the carriage stops and I hear the eunuch announcing my arrival.

"This lowly servant announces the arrival of Bang Hyunjin, First omega son of Official Bang Chan!" the eunuch announces and opens the door of the carriage I am in.

Author POV

The eunuch opens the door revealing the stunning Hyunjin, who was looking like a celestial on earth with his red gown with minimal details but looked beautiful on his petite body. Paired with a white veil with lotus flower embroidered in gold.

A tan hand with veins reaches out to the omega who looks at the handsome alpha admiring his manliness, before placing his snow white hand with slender fingers into his soon to be husband hand who helps him get off the carriage.

After that the couple get on Jungkooks sedan, the atmosphere inside the sedan is a bit suffocating for the omega as he's sitting opposite his soon to be alpha. Hyunjin keeps his head down in shyness because he would be looking at Jungkooks face if he were to raise his eyes.

"Would you like some water?" the alphas deep voice vibrates through the carriage making the omega shake his head.

"I'm fine thank you, your highness" his sweet voice responds making the alpha wonder how sweet his voice will sound calling his name.

With that the couple heads to the palace temple where the ceremony will take place.

There they find the King, Queen and Hyunjins parents already waiting for the at the door of the temple.

The parents escort them to the high temple podium where people will be able to see them get married.

"Today we are gathered here today to unite Yin & Yang energy of Bang Hyunjin and Kim Jungkook, they will be united in both body,spirit ,mind and soul" the priest says facing the people before turning back to the two kneeling figures.

Taking a red ribbon which is said to be the sacred ribbon of fate he puts the omegas hand on top of the alphas and ties them together muttering something under his breadth, with that he burns some holy incense in front of the couple warding off evil that may follow them into their marriage.

After that he unties the ribbon and asks them to sit facing each other as he hands them a bowl filled with crystal clear water and makes them drink half of it before taking a drops of it and sprinkle on both of them.

"Now bow once to each other, three times to the holy one in heaven, twice to the parents and once to the people" the priest instructs the couple who do as told.

After the worshipping they are pronounced husband and wife, standing up hand in hand on the podium the people throw flowers, rice and fruits in the air wishing the couple happiness, prosperity and many offsprings.

Getting off the podium heading towards the sedan everyone is happy placing olive branches in their way to symbolize their appreciation and acceptance  of the Crown Prince and his omega the new Crown Childe.

In the midst of all the happy chatter and singing a figure standing a bit far from the joyful atmosphere was gloomy not happy at all about the wedding.

"(sigh) Jin Young seems like my beauty will be touched by someone other than me today" he says to his subordinate in a dark tone.

"Don't worry my lord, the prince may touch him today but he'll only belong to you in the future and bear only your offsprings" Jin young says trying make his masters mood better.

"I know, but I still think its a pity that its not me break his virginity. If only there wasn't so much security these past few days I would've already taken him to be mine"

"Patience has the greatest reward my lord, besides I figured that security around him will be less after their honeymoon phase" Jin Young says in anticipation of stealing Hyunjin under the princes so called devil shadow guards.

"Well then, let's get out of here before I get sick"  With that the figure disappears into the crowd with his subordinate.

Namjoon POV

Today I saw my son become a man and a husband in front of the holy one and the people, I can't wait to see him become King with Hyunjin beside him as his Queen.

Happiness is all I wish for the new couple hoping that they'll manage to love and support each other during their reign as most tend to drift apart because of the power struggles that happen in the palace. A good example being my own parents, I don't want Jungkook to abandon his future kids as they'll end up seeing a cold tyrant instead of a father like how I view mine.

"Congratulations" I say to my new in laws and shake hands with them exchanging pleasantries.

After that we all head to the great palace hall for the grand feast celebrating the newly wedded couple.
