11.Queen ♕ Mother

Author POV

After the ceremony Hyunjin retired to the quarters prepared for him and his family.

"Hyunnie!" His mother calls him and enters the room designated to the omega .

"Mom I'm tired" the younger whines and clings onto his mother for comfort.

"OK let me help you change" Felix says untying the knots of the crop top undressing the omega of all his clothing  including the jade pendant that was tied on his waist by the prince.

Chan POV

After the engagement ceremony I and my family were allocated a small courtyard in the palace that we were going to use as our home until I found a good house in the capital.

Some of you may be wondering why I wouldn't just stay in the palace courtyard as to be close to the royals and all that, but the truth is I want my family to feel comfortable in their own space. Also having our own home would be a clear indicator that I don't want to gain anything from the palace due to my status but I want to earn everything with my hard work.

I change into more comfortable clothing wait a few minutes before picking up JeongIn from his room and going with him to Hyunjin's were my wife is helping him with stuff.

"Knock knock!"

"Come in" I hear my wife's delicate voice from the inside.

We enter to find Hyunnie already changed to his own sleeping garments ,
"Hey Hyunnie"

"Hello father" he greets back and hugs me and JeongIn before we sit down to talk.

"Today everything went well" I say starting the conversation.

"Indeed it did but the queen pushed my buttons a bit" Felix says sighing.

"I trust you handled it in a mature manner" I ask him.

"Do you really think I'll be childish in front of the queen?" He looks at me in disbelief.

"No I was just making sure"

"Hmm" he just hmms in reply.

"Hyunjin your training to become a royal wife starts tomorrow, you'll be in seclusion with elderly palace women educating you about how to treat your husband and life after marriage"

"Yes father"

"You'll come out on the day of the wedding and then after the wedding you'll be staying in the princes courtyard" Felix says adding to my words.

"I understand" my Hyunnie answers.

"Now to JeongIn" I shift looking at him.

Author POV

"What about me?" The youngest answers.

"I saw you talking to Omega Prince Taehyung" Chan says to his son .

"Yes.. We just talked and became friends that's it" the younger answers sitting straight.

"OK then, I hope you know you can't court him without achieving something yourself first" Chan says seriously to his alpha son.

Chan wanted to teach his son independence,morals and the value of your partner so that the boy could learn to love and protect their future bride .

"I understand" the younger nods in understanding.

After their little chat the family retires to their own rooms to get some much needed sleep.

Author POV

Early next morning Hyunjin is summoned by the Queen Mother into her courtyard, she wanted to meet the omega who made her grandson want to marry.

"If the young one could please follow me" says an eunuch gesturing for Hyunjin to follow him to the Queen mothers Jisoo quarters.

Upon arriving the eunuch hands over Hyunjin to the queens handmaids who usher him into the living space where he finds a graceful older woman sitting with Jungkook.

"Annyeong Haseyo to the Queen Mother and the Crown Prince" the omega kneels in greeting.

"Aigoo such a cute and respecting omega, get up and sit here next to my Kookie" the queen mother says.

"Thank you your highness"

"Just call me grandma Soo" Jisoo says liking the beautiful omega at a glance.

"Thank you grandma Soo" the omega says grateful that the queen mother isn't giving him a hard time.

Jisoo POV

Aigoo I can't believe my cold hearted grandson actually managed to get such a beautiful and well mannered omega.
Jisoo: So what if I am a face con( ˘ ³˘)♥

Honestly I can see the child's innocence at a glance, he can't even look at my Kookie in the face without blushing always keeping his head down. But will my Kookie love this omega the way it deserves to be loved or will he only have the will to conquer.

With age you learn to read people's feelings and actions just by looking at them and right now my grandson is only looking at the child like some trophy he won.

"Sorry I wasn't able to attend your engagement ceremony yesterday, so please accept my gift" I gesture to my handmaiden to hand Hyunjin a box.

"Its not a problem grandma Soo, your health comes first" the omega replies with his head bowed. Then I see Jungkook pouring tea for the omega.

"It's not a problem grandma, like he said Your health must come first. Otherwise it was just an engagement ceremony, I need you fit and present for my wedding" Jungkook answers after his omega. If I didn't know my grandson I would have thought he doted on the child.

"Don't worry I'll definitely attend your wedding, and please the gift is yours" I smile motioning for Hyunjin to take the gift.

"Knock Knock" I hear a knock at the door.

"Come in"

An eunuch from the palace comes in and bows to us. I motion for him to state his business.

"Greetings to the Queen mother, the Prince and the Child. This lowly servant was sent by the Queen to come and call the Child for his official training as a royal wife" the eunuch says.

"OK go and wait for him outside"

"This servant obeys" he stands up and leaves.

"This child go and see your mother in law, also don't forget about grandma Soo" I say to Hyunjin.

"This child is grateful to grandma Soo for accepting me, I won't forget you. I will take my leave" the omega says and bows one last time before standing up and leaves.
