CHAPTER 13 - LIAR

"W-What's.. going on?!" The weakened, cursed Akuji groaned. "Silence.." Lilith smirks. "Do you not see a resemblance?" Akuji shook. She was terrified. "No.. no! It can't be!" She attempted to stand up but got pushed away by Lilith. "Not you too.. you're a traitor TOO?!" Akuji screams. "Traitor?" Lilith laughs. "No. I'm simply listening to my creator." Ahriman floats down. "You haven't noticed? Our skin is pale white.. we have god powers, holy powers. The usual for someone like me." He stepped onto Akuji's head. "Oh, Ahri. Let her live a little while longer. Let her see our complete form." They both floated up, above all rooftops of Kraghon.

"Damn you!" Akuji shouted. "You're a LIAR! WE PLACED ALL OF OUR TRUST IN YOU! I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS! I'LL KILL YOU, YOU HEAR ME?! I'LL KILL YOU, DAMN IT!" Lilith looked down. "Hush. Pathetic peasant. Everything Euryale said about you was correct." Lilith and Ahriman looked at each other, before flying toward each other. A ray of light struck down from the skies as soon as they clashed. A mysterious voice came from the light. "I am not here to kill you. No, no. I'm here to destroy everything. Just like I planned to, before that nuisance Krilia got in my way. I'm here to take my revenge on this planet." Down from the skies came a figure that looked like both Holy Stones at once. "This is it.. godhood. My Holy Stone form." Their hair went down to the end of their back, and they had large horns. They had claws, and their entire body was white. They had veins, which were red, and very noticeable. "I.. am.. Lilihman. I have, at last, achieved my final form.

Akuji was terrified. She threw up and started crying. Lilihman walked toward Akuji. "Well, well, well. What do we have here? A little lamb come to play with the wolf? You're just in time. I was getting hungry." Akuji looked up. "Naphtali.. he'll kill you. He will. Ruthven and I.. we believe in him. He's our family." Lilihman looked shocked. "Naphtali? That boy has betrayed you." Akuji stood up, her knees shaking. "Fine.. I'll just kill you myself." She swung at Lilihman with the weakest swing she ever had. Lilihman shoved their knee into Akuji's stomach. Akuji coughed out blood. Lilihman hit Akuji in her chest, making it difficult for her to continue breathing. "You are no more significant than insects to me. I have conquered kingdoms, defeated armies, and slain GODS! I suggest you give up. Right. Now." Akuji stood up. "I'm.. not giving up just yet." Akuji, at this point, wasn't even conscious. Her heart was fighting, and her body was moving on its own. "I'm a hero.. I'll destroy Kraghon.. I'll kill you, Lilihman." Lilihman was raging. "There's no such thing as heroes and villains!" Lilihman kicked Akuji in her face. "We're all villains! It's just that those who live to tell the tale will always paint themselves as the heroes." Akuji breathed heavily. "Aren't you sorry? .." Lilihman smiled. "Nowhere near it." Akuji grit her teeth. "OF COURSE YOU AREN'T! All you do is take. You take and you take, until the world has NOTHING LEFT!" Akuji screamed violently. "I have read stories about you. You are nothing but a villain. I do not have anyone to blame but myself. I know. I KNOW what you do! Yet.. here I am. I have guilt fighting you. Because deep inside, you're still my commander. You know that. Think of your people!" Lilihman let out a chuckle. "Think of the people?! Why would I think of the people, when they have never ONCE thought of me?! They left me to rot when I needed them most. They turned a blind eye, and allowed my hatred to fester, my mind to twist for YEARS!" Lilihman frowned. "I have had enough of this child's play." They sent a ray of light toward Akuji.

Akuji closed her eyes. She knew this was the end. Until black, dark energy covered her. Her eyes went dark. This was exactly what had happened with Ruthven. "No.. not yet. I'm not done yet." Akuji smirked.

Back on the balcony, Naphtali was confused as to what was going on. "Really, Naph?" Faolan turned and looked at him. "You didn't know?" "Didn't know what?" Naphtali raised one eyebrow. "That is Lilith's Holy Stone form. Lilith was a clone of Ahriman. They became one, making them a god. Lilith IS Ahriman." Naphtali was shocked. He wanted to cry. But he had to keep his cover, so he remained calm. "I see." Faolan was confident. "As you can see, Kraghon has gotten much stronger. But Lilihman won't remain forever. After this war ends, we plan on killing them. Every Holy Stone must perish. That is the only way Kagnia can be safe." Faolan turned toward Naphtali. "It also means I must kill you." Naphtali kept a straight face. He wouldn't let that happen. They continued looking at the battle over the balcony. He saw both Holy Stones were losing, on the ground. He also saw his sister, Cecilia, and Euryale's dead bodies on the floor. Naphtali viewed a memory. It wasn't his, though.

He saw Lilith's Holy Stone form, and Viola. He remembered Lilith mentioning that only Viola had seen this form before. This must be that moment. It was this very balcony that he was viewing. It must've been before Viola had escaped Kraghon. It seemed as though the two.. or, three, since Lilith was Lilihman, were fighting. Viola used her powers to turn into her Holy Stone form. She turned into a 19" monster. She had sharp teeth, claws, and wings on her back. Her body had turned into scales. She looked like a dragon. Lilihman proceeded to fly at Viola, while Viola hit her away with her wing. Lilihman went flying backwards, before sending a ray of light toward Viola. Viola got hit, but it barely affected her. Viola breathed fire, and burned Lilihman. Lilihman had split into two. "Damn it.." Lilith groaned. "We can't afford to lose here. Run." Ahriman grabbed onto Lilith and warped away. They had almost lost, if it wasn't for Viola transforming. Viola turned back into her human form, and saw soldiers surrounding her. Before Naphtali got to see what happened, he returned to the present time. Naphtali looked over at Faolan. He was distracted. This was his moment. Naphtali attempted to assassinate Faolan by putting a knife into the back of his neck, but Faolan deflected it.

"Fool.. I won't go down that easily." Naphtali stepped back. "How did you know?!" "How did I know?" He smiled. "I see the future, Naph. Specifically into the next ten to twenty seconds. I know all of your future moves. Including.." Naphtali warped behind Faolan and tried to knock him out. Faolan backhanded him into a wall. "That." Faolan stepped toward Naphtali. Naphtali thought to himself. How the hell can he beat Faolan? "You can't." Naphtali looked up. "Wait. Wait a second. You don't have future powers." Faolan got annoyed. "Damn it." "You can make people dream, sure. You have the king of Kraghon powers, too. But you don't have future powers. How did you know what I was thinking? You have mind-reading powers! Liar!" Naphtali thought about hitting Faolan in the face. Faolan put his arms up, in front of his face, but Naphtali kicked Faolan in the stomach. "You've figured it out, huh? .. I knew you were smarter than that." Naphtali smiled. "C'mon Faolan. Let me kill you. I will make sure your name is known. You can trust me." Faolan's eyes shook. "Trust you?" He scoffed. "Are you serious? You want me to trust you, after everything you've put me through.. all the lies, the headache, the betrayal?! You HAD my trust!!" Faolan had pain in his breathing. "You had it, and you broke it! You don't get to come back here and tell me to trust you, when that's the very reason I got hurt in the first place! You deserve NOTHING from me. Not even my trust." They ran at each other, before they stopped, due to a strange noise they heard.

They looked over the balcony. There was a loud, screeching noise coming from Ruthven and Akuji's bodies. Then, a massive pillar of darkness struck down on them. "What is that? .." Naphtali stood still. "I don't know.. I think.." Faolan shook. "I think its the curse."

"KEHEHEHE!" Laughter came from both bodies.
