Rounding the corner of the studio building, Sav spots Phil perched on a picnic table strumming on his guitar. On a bench behind him is a canoodling couple, one blond head, one dark.
"Oh god, are they still at it?"
"Uh huh. Why do you think I'm facing this way?"
"Shouldn't they have grown out of this sort of thing by now?"
"They always get like this when the sun comes out. Like rabbits. It's sort of sweet... but nauseating."
Alice peels her face off Steve's for long enough to turn her head and call back "We can hear you y'know."
Steve blinks dopily at the interruption. Phil thinks he looks drunk, but on love (or sex) rather than booze.
"Get a room!" retorts Sav.
"We were here first." protests Steve. He tilts his head and whispers something in Alice's ear. She nods, then they disentangle and, holding hands, wander off - not towards the accommodation block but into the woods. Without looking back, Steve waggles his fingers in a dismissive wave to his bandmates.
"Shouldn't they be going the other way?"
"Like I said, rabbits." says Phil smiling, and goes back to his guitar.
