Grace tapped the screen of her phone with her perfectly manicured finger to focus her camera, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she took photos of the bright colored buildings that lined the streets of Havana Cuba to send to Emily. Grace didn't know what she thought Cuba looked like but she didn't expect this— it was gorgeous. The part Joseph had taken her to had this old town Spanish vibe to it and Grace loved it.
Joseph and Grace were on their way to the beach to spend the day on the warm sand soaking up sun together but had decided to sight see on the way there, walking through the cobble stone streets of Old Havana hand in hand.
Joseph snuck up behind Grace as she took photos, moving her long brown tresses to the side. Grace froze as she felt Joseph messing with her ear. "What are you doing?" She laughed, still not moving.
"I picked you a flower," He said proudly, placing the bright pink flower he'd picked off a bush behind her ear.
Grace giggled, looking at her reflection through her phone screen seeing the delicate flower he'd tucked behind her ear. A small smile danced on her lips as she looked up at him. "Thank you," She said sweetly. "Besito,"
Joseph scrunched up his face. "The fuck that mean?"
Grace let out a small laugh. " It means kiss in Spanish silly,"
" When you start speakin Spanish?" He questioned, raising a bushy brow.
"I took Spanish in highschool and college, I only know a few words though— now kiss me dang-it!" She exclaimed with a chuckle, stomping her foot on the ground.
Joseph snickered, craning his head down and pecking Graces waiting puckered lips. "What else you know how to say?" He asked with a smirk.
Grace stared up at him for a moment before playfully rolling her hazel eyes and walking off leaving him standing in the middle of the stone street. Joseph stood in place for a moment, watching her walk as her rounded rear switched from side to side, licking over his pearly white teeth. Her walk was starting to get a cute little waddle to it. Grace had chosen a flowly tangerine colored maxi dress for the day that complimented the gilded color of her skin and hugged her rapidly growing belly and hips tightly, feathering out at the bottom.
They were now at the beginning of the last trimester and she was finally beginning to gain weight in other areas than her stomach like her face, arms, hips and thighs. Grace commented on how she felt like a whale at least four times a day but Joseph was obsessed. He'd even been plotting about putting another one in her as soon as that one month was up.
" AYE! Slow down!" Joseph shouted, seeing how far she was getting.
Grace turned around with an impatient expression seeing Joseph's still standing where she'd left him. "Well come on then!" She exclaimed, waving her hand.
As they got closer to the main street near the beach, the streets seemed to come more alive with people and rich with culture. There was a farmers market of sorts set up along the beach with locals selling things from fresh fruits to hand made goods, street performers performing and others playing instruments. The one thing that stood out the most to Grace was the police presence, it was much different from in the states.
The police out there walked around in groups and Grace couldn't help but feel as if they were all staring at her and Joseph in a way the deeper they got into the crowded street of tourists and locals— almost as if they knew who they are.
Grace twisted her lips to the side as she looked up at her husband to see if he were seeing the same thing but he seemed to be paying it no mind— that or he didn't care, so Grace rid her mind of those thoughts thinking maybe she were the one being paranoid.
