With a plan in motion, Tari closed her eyes as she held the cartridge in her hands. When they opened, the screen glitched and her eyes were a vacant white glow.
Meggy and Lamar nodded, while the former gave Sophia a thumbs up. Meggy carefully took the cartridge from Tari's hands before handing it to her.
Meggy: You sure you can handle Lucks?
Sophia: Don't worry. He'll be so focused on me, he won't even think about finding you two until your miles away.
Crystal babbled sadly as Sophia and Meggy smirked.
Sophia: Don't worry kiddo, I'll be back before you know it.
Lamar: Hate to ruin the moment, but shouldn't we get moving?
Meggy: Good luck Sophia.
Meggy nodded at her as the windows closed and the car started driving off.
As they were driving, Meggy took a glance at Tari and rubbed her shoulder. She just hoped she'd be okay when this was over.
Her gaze shifted with an uneasy look as she noticed the blue haired female body pillow in the backseat opposite her. She shuffled away with Crystal as Lamar noticed.
Lamar: Oh, sorry! Didn't introduce you two yet, that's-
Meggy: Please, I don't want to know.
Lamar: Fair enough.
Lamar drove for about half an hour before parking near a building.
Lamar: Okay, we should be safe here.
Meggy sat back in her seat, shifting nervously.
She looked at Tari, her eyes still vacant.
Meggy: Tari...I hope you know what your doing.
