The True End

(10 years later...)

Some fast pattering feet were heard alongside childish laughter, running through the halls of a large apartment block that might as well have been a house with the size.

Alice: Hehe, get back here Emily!

Alice had Tari's short blue hair, with Meggy's chocolate brown eyes.

Emily: Not a chance, you can't catch up with me!

Emily was the opposite, having blue eyes and long ginger flowing hair.

The sounds of cooing and boiling water was evident as they made their way to the kitchen. They were quickly snatched up by the backs of their jackets as Meggy looked them in the eyes.

Meggy: Alice, Emily...

Alice: Hehe, hi Mommy...

Meggy: What did I say about bothering Mommy when she's cooking?

Emily: D-don't come near the hot stove...

Meggy: Exactly. Heh, I swear your uncle Masa's hot headed temper has rubbed off on you.

Alice and Emily: Sorry Mommy...

She put them down, giving them a hug and kisses.

Meggy: Oh, it's okay. You know I can't stay mad at my girls.

(Ding Dong)

The bell rung, drawing attention to the 2 toddlers on the couch, barley a year old each.

Felicia and Molly: Som on ta a dwor!

The youngest of their Family, Felicia was a spitting image of Tari with blue hair and eyes, being carried by Tari during her pregnancy. Meggy in turn carried Molly, a copy of her with chocolate brown eyes and ginger long hair.

Meggy: Okay, maybe you girls can help me out by getting the door? Dinners almost ready.

Alice and Emily: Okay Mommy!

The two scampered to the door, both forming a human tower to reach the door handle as the door opened.

Alice and Emily: (Gasping) Momma, Big Sis!

Tari knelt down to give them big hugs and kisses as Crystal joined in on the hug, closing the door and turning the locks on with her meta vision.

Tari: Hey girls, I'm so happy to see you!

Meggy approached.

Meggy: Hey honey...

They both shared a quick kiss.

Meggy: Why'd you knock?

Tari: I..kinda forgot my key again.

Meggy rolled her eyes and gave Crystal a hug.

Meggy: Were you a good girl today Crystal?

Crystal: Yeah, I kicked everyone's butts!

Tari: Crystal was the best player in the whole junior league, did some tricks that's I'm fairly certain I didn't teach her.

Meggy: Well, I expect the best from my precious little girl!

Meggy gave her a quick squeeze and patted her on the head.

Meggy: Now have a seat with your sisters, Dinner's almost ready! It's one of my bests!

Crystal grinned ear to ear as she parked herself on the couch between Felicia and Molly. She hugged them both as Emily and Alice sat on either end of them. Tari took her seat next to Alice and Felicia, squeezing their faces.

Meggy appeared and handed out trays with dinner, a fine serving of chicken curry and rice with naan bread. She handed out the food and got her own before parking on the couch with her feet up.

As the movie played and her family laughed, smiling and having fun, Meggy looked back on how she met Tari, all the crazy adventures and how her life had turned out.

Their hearts had been locked away under lock and key, seemingly sealed away. But they found the keys to each-other's hearts and opened themselves up to love.

And despite all the pain, all the heartbreak and Sorrow, Meggy could look back...

And say proudly that she wouldn't change a thing...
