"hey..we didn't see you for the rest of the party..where'd you go?" neves asked as val and her opened riah's door
"i went home."
"babe, why?" val frowned
"i saw taehyung kissing some girl" riah answered monotone
"oh my GOD?!" val exclaimed
"you seem pretty calm about it.." neves observed
"because i've cried all my tears already" riah scoffed
"babe, why didn't you try and find one of us?" neves asked
"and disturb y'all's night?..no, i didn't want to be a bother"
"our best friend's mental health is much more important than one silly party ri? are you serious?" neves questioned

"it's just like..everyone was so excited to go and you guys were with your boyfriends and..i just needed to get out of there, well..i guess i didn't leave immediately" zariah confessed
"huh?" val questioned
"i..i tried to find an empty room but it was not empty, jungkook was in there and..i completely humiliated myself. i stumbled in there crying my eyes out and he insisted to know what was wrong"

"aw that's sweet" neves cooed
"did you tell him?" val asked
"unfortunately, i fucking ran my mouth and..i guess he felt really bad for me because..we..kissed..twice"
"WHAT?!" val and neves exclaimed
"yeah.." zariah said with a half smile
"um why aren't you clapping and cheering? this was your first kiss?!" val questioned
"oh my god, is this what they were fighting about?! was it over you? maybe jungkook likes you!?" neves conspired

"nonsense, it didn't mean anything i promise. and i mean im not mad it happened, i liked it but..it's not like it's gonna happen again" ri explained
"says who? why are you assuming things you don't know the answer to?" val asked
"jungkook and i hardly even talk?..it was in the heat of the moment..it wasn't anything"

"i'm all for kissing boys and never speaking to them again but are you sure? i mean jungkook didn't tell you this and..i'm wondering if this is you projecting onto him because of tae" neves considered
"i'm seriously not over him and i don't know if i will be any time soon. i need time and..i promise you jungkook wouldn't want anything with me. i knew taehyung wouldn't and thought i'd be proven wrong but i was right from the start"

"so you are projecting." neves stated, val snickering a little in response

"goodbye, get OUT my room" ri said lightheartedly
"okay, okay! just..think about it you know if you're not ready don't jump but..if you're interested in him" val insinuated
"never said that" ri corrected

"he's your first kiss and ri we know you. if you really liked it you're gonna be replaying it over and over until your head over heels for this man and if you never try with him..you might regret it" val explained with hands up in defense

"okay, i heard you! we get it!" ri giggled
"there's that smile!" val pointed
"shut up. im supposed to be sulking right now" ri laughed
"or planning on how to kill taehyung..that's what i'll be doing" neves admitted
"i don't know how i'm gonna be able to hang out with the group my ex is in" zariah cringed
"oh, we can always exclude him!" val answered
"might be hard..i doubt the boys will consider my uncomfortability"
"well to us he doesnt exist!" val affirmed

"hey man what happened at the party? didn't see you all night" minghao questioned as him, yugyeom and jungkook put on their soccer gear for practice. "nothing" jungkook let out a deep sigh. "what? what happened to the plan, man?" yugyeom asked with a sarcastic laugh. "that was never gonna work, soon after we arrived i got a song idea and..when creativity strikes!.." jungkook insinuated as he put his soccer bag in his locker. "oh please don't tell me you were writing a song at a party jungkook" yugyeom scoffed, shaking his head as minghao shook his head as well. "you can't fight inspiration!..not like i got much of it done anyways" jungkook huffed. "and why is that.." minghao mumbled. "because zariah came in" jungkook said to where only the two of them could hear.

"HUH??" they both exclaimed causing everyone, including taehyung to turn their heads.
"shut the hell up would you? damn i haven't even explained myself yet!" jungkook said hitting minghao on the arm. "well i bet we can guess!" yugyeom joked as him and minghao bursted into laughter, receiving a blank stare from jungkook. "wait, isn't she with tae?" minghao gasped. "no" jungkook answered simply. "what? since when?" "like friday, listen it's not right for me to tell you guys their business" jungkook stated. "okay, so what happened?" "she came in..crying" jungkook answered solemnly. "oh" the boys' expressions changed quickly.

"then one thing lead to another and..we kissed" jungkook calmly explained. "WOAH WHAT?!" the boys cheered. "shut up?!" jungkook demanded with gritted teeth. "right..sorry" minghao quickly lowered his demeanor as he looked around. "well, why aren't you happy about this?" yugyeom asked. "because..it ended so abrupt she- she freaked out, she was like you did this out of pity, it won't happen again and ran out" jungkook explained as he squinted in distress. "damn..you're that bad?" minghao jabbed. "yeah man, what'd you eat?" yugyeom added as the two had the time of their lives poking fun at their friend.

"very funny, no, i told you guys, they were really broken up, sobbing tears and i'm an idiot..i got caught in the moment and ended up kissing them and all it did was make it worse." jungkook let out. "maybe it didn't? i mean like you said, she was in an emotional state and just got out of a what seems to me was a shitty relationship. maybe it just wasn't a good time and they need some space?" minghao suggested. "yeah, i just wish i never kissed her, it was selfish and stupid and now it's gonna be so awkward between us" jungkook rolled his head back. "not as awkward as with you know who" minghao reminded. "you have a point" jungkook cringed as the boys walked out the locker room.
