They knew each other too well to believe any cheating voice Brad started.

Embarrass Max in front of her?

She grew up with him, so there wasn’t much she wasn’t used to already.

Forcing her to stay away by faking being sick?

She was mad when she found out it was a lie and he only got yelled at for an hour for scaring her so much.

By now both Y/n and Max knew what was going on, so they decided to ignore it.

Max did take his small revenge…

Bradley is performing a trick, trying to impress some girls watching before jumping to the board, posing proudly.

Unknown to him, Max skates down the rails while reading something, passing by Bradley and one of the girls, twirling the two both having their clothes exchanged embarrassing Bradley. He yelps, covering himself. The girls laugh a bit as Bradley growls frustratedly toward where Max left.

He didn’t necessarily tell Y/n about this, but she was sure she wouldn’t mind.

Word of their relationship has gotten around now. Everyone knows. And by now Y/n had grown out or at least was trying, being shy about it. Bobby and PJ teased her about it forever. It stopped once she found out about Coco and PJ and her threat of finding out about Bobby's secret.

They managed to sneak in a few make-out sessions. Not going too far as Y/n was still a bit shy about it, and Max couldn't help but find it adorable. No matter what she did he was swooning about it all. Compliments never stopped, he was full on being a gentleman with her. And Y/n just found this adorable.

So sweet it was teeth rotting, as Pj and Bobby had put it.

Finally, the qualifying day came.

Max amazed looks around the whole setup.

‘’ This is everything I dreamed it would be!’’

Bobby is on Bobby's knees as he praises the place.

‘’his place puts the "rage" in outrageous!’’

‘’No joking!’’ Adds an also exited Pj.

‘’ It buries what we're used to living in Lester's Possum Park.’’

‘’Alright. That's it, just remember. There's nothing here that we can't handle.’’ says Max trying to encourage his friends before an annoying voice interrupts them.

‘’Oh! I seriously doubt that. We're gonna eat you alive, freshmen!’’

‘’Oh, Brad, we're quaking on our boards.’’

‘’Oh stop it, Brad, don’t be so annoying right off the bait,’’ Y/n adds as she comes from behind her friends and hugs Max from behind.

‘’I know you’re dating my future towel boy but please not in front of me.’’ Add Brad annoyed,
‘’I’m going to puke.’’

‘’Well go puke elsewhere.’’

‘’Alright, alright we’re going. But only for now Freshman. Where’s my good luck hug?’’ he asks her.

Y/n rolls her eyes but still indulges her older brother. He hugs her and shoots a grin at Max when she kisses his cheek making Max glare at him. Not like he could say anything about it. They were still family.

‘’Good luck Brat. Break a leg.’’

‘’Yeah love you too. See you there, Freshman.’’

Max just groans annoyed making Y/n chuckle as she grabs his hand and pulls him to the side with her Max just following.
