Loser <3 {Max Goofy x Reader}

I smell a simp

The summer went fast, so did the first weeks of highschool. Max made new friends, who obviously became y/n's friends as well.
Bobby, the cheese obsessed mohawk guy and Peej, a shy kid who gives the best hugs.
The first weeks of highschool went smoothly.
Unfortunately y/n was in a different class, once again which turned out to be great, she, Roxanne and Stacey became friends instantly. Roxanne was this shy girl everyone would have a crush on. Stacey was also cute obviously but in y/n's eyes Roxanne took the cup. (She might go both ways but idk 😏)

Y/n pov
After what felt like forever of math the bell rang. All y/n had in mind was lunch, you need nutrients to survive!  Stacey being busy couldn't join them, so y/n dragged Roxanne with her to lunch. They grabbed their food and walked towards the table y/n usually sat in with Max, Peej and Bobby.

"Hey guys. Meet my friend Roxanne. We're in class together."

"Hey Roxie-an I'm Bobby! Pleased to meet ya."

"That's Bobby." She leaned in to whisper

"He's obsessed with cheese. Just a heads up."

"That's Peej, the one in a blue shirt and this idiot right here is Max."

She looked at Max who had a dazed stare on.

"Um is he fine?" Asked Roxie.

"Not really most of the time. Maxie, you ok?"

She waved her hand in front of his face.

"Oh y/n ye-yeah I'm fine. Pleasure yo meet you Roxanne."

Y/n stared at the both of them, it soon added up.
Not only Max had a love struck face but Roxanne had a shy look on her face too. It brought a small pang to her chest. Which she didn't understood what it was so she shrugged it off and decided to play cupid. This didn't go unnoticed to Bobby and Peej tho who just shared a knowing look.

She smirked, gasped as she got up clapping her hands as if remembering something, went around the table and behind Bobby's and Peej's back hugging them both from behind.

"Ahh! I completely forgot! I need um to do something with Peej and you promised to help me too Bobby."

"Ah? Oh I see girl I'm in."

Bobby caught on pretty fast. Well Peej didn't.

"What? Whe-oof" she elbowed him on his side.

"Ooh yes! W-we um had something to do."

"Yes! And it's late soo let's get going."

"Um but y/n, you'll leave me here?" Asked Roxie.

"I'll help you with your science homework later as sorry. See you!"

She walked behind Max and leaned on his ear.
"Don't mess this up Maximilian. Don't wanna hear Roxanne complaining to me. Have fun!"

She ruffled his hair and chuckled when he slapped her hand away.
As soon as they tree were out of sight they hid and looked back at the table leaning over a wall just poking their heads out.

"That was nice of you y/n girl."

"Hmm? Well he's my best friend, I approve of him enough to date my girl Roxanne."

"But aren't you sad?" Asked Peej.

"And sad about?"

She asked but they couldn't answer as she saw Max walking towards the bleachers right outside the cafeteria and Roxanne gone. She followed after her best friend.
Peej and Bobby looked at each other and shaked their heads.

"They couldn't be blinder. Specially y/n."

They left letting them have some time outside. Y/n followed Max as he sat on the bleachers.

"Max? Why didn't you talk to her more?"

She asked as she sat near him.

"I chocked! Ahh and laughed my stupid laugh you know..Ahyuk! And I couldn't bring out a single word that had some sense! I was a stuttering mess!"

Y/n tried to keep it in but couldn't in the end and laughed out loud.

"That's the only reason!?" She double laughing.

"Oh come on y/n! I- I think I might like her already."

Y/n cleaned a fake tear under her eye and gently ruffled his hair. This time he didn't slap her hand away.

"Maxie, I've told you at least a million times that that laugh is cute no need to hide it! I bet she likes it too."

"But you're my best friend. You just got used to it."

"Oh please, you're so unorganized I bet I can find month old pizza under your bed, your grades would be all kaput if I didn't help you, and you tease me way too much and here I am still friends with you. A laugh won't stop me from being your friend you doofus. Now come on. PE is starting. We have this lesson together right? I bet I'll win this dodgeball game. You'll be lucky to be my towel boy."

"Ohoh we're on y/n. When you lose and you have to carry my towel don't go crying to Bobby or Peej."

"You're the one that whines to them! Peej.  y/n is bullying me! Bobby please tell y/n to stop! my poor heart can't take this!"

She acted with the back of her hand to her forehead and fanning herself with the other.

"Oh you come here. "
he chased her through the field. They had to stop because lesson was about to start. They walked joking around until they each got to their classes.

After saying their goodbyes Max though back to the conversation they had. He hated when someone ruffled his hair up. But for some reason he didn't mind when y/n did it. She did it since the first moment they became friends. He smiled at the memories and went to prepare to beat her in dodgeball.

Long story short. Y/n won. And made Max her towel boy for a month. He didn't mind much tho. All y/n's things never smelled bad.

I didn't know what to write honestly. From the next chapter I'll start with the actual movie.

Well a short story before to describe how he came up with the concert idea or something else idk.
