Chapter 27

Colette's POV
He cradled my head and started scratching it.

"Relax. I'm never leaving you. I'm yours now. I will NEVER be hers."

I looked up at him.

"Y-you promise?"

"I promise. I'm yours, forever."

He kissed my forehead. I put my head back down. Nyxon started holding me tighter.

"I'll never leave you. I swear. You're stuck with me."

A few weeks later, I woke up sick. I ran to the bathroom and started throwing up. I felt someone holding my hair back.

"You okay?"

I started holding my stomach while I shook my head. Nyxon put my hair in a bun then sat down to me. He started rubbing my back.

"Wait a minute."

I flushed the toilet then went through the drawers.

"What's wrong?"

"I think...I know why I'm sick."

I took a pregnancy test out of the bottom drawer.

"When'd you get that?"

"A few days ago. This makes sense...I haven't gotten my period in a couple weeks."

I opened the pregnancy test and kicked Nyxon out of the bathroom. I used the test then, let him back in.

We sat down on the floor. It came back positive.

"Holy shit!"

Nyxon's phone started going off.

"Fuck! I have to get ready for work. I'll take you to the doctor later."

After he got back from work, he brought me to the doctor. When we got back, a girl showed up. I opened the door.

"You must be Colette."

"Uh who are you?"

She cupped my face and started kissing me. I started pushing her away. I started hyperventilating while crying. She grabbed my wrists.

Oh god!

Not again!

Not again!

HELP!

Nyxon's POV
"Who's at the door?"

I walked to the front door. I saw Masie kissing Colette. I ripped Colette away from her and hid her behind me.

"What the fuck?! How'd you find out where we live?!"

"I have my ways."

Colette started shaking.

"Baby go in our room."

"Aww but you talked so much about her! I wanted to meet her!"

"You fucking shoved your tongue down her throat!"

"Hey Colette? Who's the better kisser?"

"Don't talk to her! Don't!"

I looked over my shoulder. Colette's forehead was pressed against my back.

"Masie get the fuck away from my house."

"Nyxy? I-I'm scared."

"No! I want you!"

"I-I knew this would happen!" Colette said as her voice cracked.

"Knew what would happen?"

"Y-you'd come around an-and take him away from me!"

My heart cracked. That was the moment when I realized, Colette's nightmare was coming true.

"She's not taking me! Stop with that!"

"Oh no! Now you're mad!"

I spun around.

"No no. I-I'm sorry. I-I'm not mad at you. I-I'm just frustrated."

Her body started shaking.

"Fuck! Fuck! Go lay down, please."

Colette ran off.

"I-I'll be up in a minute!"
