Mercedes always had feelings for a certain Blue Lion. Whenever she saw her smiling with her friends, studying, or doing anything, really, her cheeks would heat up, and she'd get very giddy. But, Mercedes never told anyone about these feelings. Mercedes had been walking back from the library, when she heard voices. Mercedes hid on the other side of the wall, listening. 

"Look, I think you should just ask her to tea. You can't keep hiding your feelings like this!" Claude. But who was he talking to? Probably giving Dimitri more dating advice. Mercedes thought, with a smile.

"Okay, but what if she doesn't feel the same?" Y/n?! Well, Mercedes needed to find out who her crush, Y/n M/n Gautier, liked. 

"Who cares?! At least you put yourself out there. Just. Do. It!" Claude handed Y/n a basket, and walked away. Mercedes began walking quickly, but stopped.

Her favourite voice sounded behind her. "Mercedes! I was just looking for you."

"O-Oh, hey, Y/n! I was just on my way to my dorm. How can I help you?" Mercedes clutched her books to her chest.

"Uhm... well, I wanted to know if you'd have tea with me." Y/n was talking to Claude about her?! Mercedes smiled.

"I'd love to! I'll go ask the professor to borrow her tea set." 

Y/n spoke fast. "No need, I've got it," she lifted the wicker basket, filled with tea bags, treats, and the tea set itself. "Let's go!"

"Okay, so I didn't just ask you to tea for no reason. I'll just get to the point... I asked you here because... I like you. I like you so much, it's grown to be a bit more. So, I guess, that's what I wanted to say..." Y/n set the cookie she was eating down on the saucer, and expected the worst.

Mercedes was stunned. "I... I like you too, Y/n. And I have for long." Y/n smiled, and leaned forward, pressing her lips against Mercedes's soft ones. Y/n cupped her cheek, and Mercedes placed her hand overtop of Y/n's. Y/n bit her bottom lip, slipping her tongue lightly into Mercedes's mouth. 

"Ahem," Sylvain appeared at the table, breaking the two up from their kiss. He had a sly smirk across his face. "I see my baby sis got a girlfriend! Congrats." 

Y/n glared at her brother. "Sylvain, I swear on Seiros, I will punch you so hard, the ladies won't be attracted to you for a month, a goddamn month, Sylvain!" He quickly ran away. Y/n followed, but not before sweetly kissing her girlfriend's lips once more.

"I'll see you later, my precious girl." She winked, and chased after her brother. Mercedes's cheeks grew warm. She pressed her fingers to her lips, where Y/n had kissed. I love her so much.
