Y/n chatted away with his friends, Caspar, Linhardt, and Ferdinand, who was his older brother. Not by blood, but Ferdinand's father adopted Y/n when he was young. Y/n did not bear a crest, and was a mere commoner, but was a noble through and through to everyone else. Edelgard never liked Ferdinand, but Y/n was nothing like him, which drew her to him. Dorothea and Petra sat down beside Edelgard and smirked.

"What are you smirking at me for?" Edelgard turned, and cocked an eyebrow.

"Nothing, just that it seems like someone's got the hots for Y/n!" Dorothea laughed loudly. Edelgard was almost one hundred percent sure he heard. He did briefly glance over at the girls.

"You have not been hiding very well, everyone has knowledge about your feelings for Y/n." Petra smiled.

Dorothea nodded. "Exactly, everyone knows, including Y/n. I think it's time you talked to him. Trust me, it won't go badly."

"Okay, I'll do it after class. But, I'm scared, what if he doesn't feel the same?" Edelgard had a worried expression on her face. "I'd consider him to be my dream guy..."

"I bet he will reciprocate. Just try it! Here, Petra and I will help you figure out what to say." Dorothea gave a reassuring nod, and Petra smiled too.

"Alright, everyone, that concludes today's lesson. Remember, that you have certifications coming up, so be sure to study hard." Professor Byleth finished her lecture, and dismissed the Black Eagles.

"Okay, just go over there, and do what we discussed. And, if he doesn't feel the same, at least you tried! Now, go." Dorothea practically shoved Edelgard over towards him. He was packing up his books, and study notes.

"Oh, hey, El. How are you?" Y/n smiled at the Imperial Princess, who was blushing furiously.

She took a deep breath. "Hi, Y/n. I was wondering if you would like to study with me later?"

He nodded, and gave her a smile. "I would love that. Consider it a date." He winked, and left the classroom, leaving Edelgard a blushing and stunned mess.

Edelgard was sitting in the library, wondering if Y/n was really gonna show.

"Hey, El, sorry I'm late..." Y/n smiled, sitting next to her.

"O-Oh, it's alright! Should we start?" She asked.

He nodded. "Sure."

They studied for two hours. The two laughed, and had a great time.

Y/n yawned. "I am exhausted. I had fun with you, El." 

She smiled, and blushed a little. "Yeah, I had fun, too."

He gazed into her violet eyes. "You know... you truly are beautiful."

"W-What?" Her eyes widened.

"Mhm... It's true. By the way... I feel the same way about you." Y/n smiled.

"You do?" She asked.

He nodded, leaning in. He pressed his lips gently to hers.

"I really like you, El." He tucked a lock of white hair behind her ear.

"I-I like you to, Y/n." She smiled widely.

"I'm so glad."
