Eddie woke up at steves house, steve holding his hand tightly as soft snores were heard from him, eddie smiled slightly before sitting up yawning, today was steves 10th birthday, eddie wanted to surprise steve so he slowly crept out of the room and downstairs, he had gone to the bakery the other day and hid steves favorite cake in the back of the fridge, a Confetti bunt cake.

Eddie pulled the cake out and put in a few candles and lit them before grabbing some gifts from the closet, after completing the little setup eddie just chilled on the couch until steve woke up, when he heard the soft footsteps of another person he ran behind the couch and turned off the lights, eddie jumped out from behind the couch as steve turned the lights on,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVIE!!"
steve jumped at the noise, he chuckled slightly smiling as eddie ran and hugged him, "damn you did all this for me?" steve said shocked, looking around at the slightly decorated room and at the cake. "its not much, but its your birthday!" eddie giggled, grabbing steves hand and dragging him to the couch to sit down and cut the cake, they spent all day eating junk food, watching Romance movies and crying when something dramatic happened. after a few movies steve sighed, it was getting late to midnight and steve was exhausted, eddie smiled, grabbing a few blankets and pillows and blankets and setting them up in eddies room, he sat down beside steve and covered them with the blanket, steve rested is head on eddies lap, eddie played with his hair, running his hands through it.
"thanks for this ed's, today was fun" steve laughed, sitting up staring eddie dead in the eyes as their faces were less than 4 inches away, eddies lips parted to speak,
"There is...one more thing i want to give to you before the day ends"
eddie smiled, leaning in closer to steve, they both closed their eyes as eddie connected their lips, eddie moved his hand to steves cheek, cupping his face and holding his other hand, steve broke the kiss pressing his head against eddies lovingly, "i love you ed's"
