Lord John Phillip Carey is a direct descendant of Lord Edmund Beaufort through his daughter, Lady Eleanor Beaufort whose daughter, Lady Margaret Spencer married Sir Thomas Carey and they had a son, Sir William Carey that married Lady Mary Boleyn, the daughter of Sir Thomas Boleyn and Lady Elizabeth Howard, the eldest daughter of Lord Thomas Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk and Lady Elizabeth Tinley.

Lord John Phillip Carey was related to The Howard's, The Beaufort's, and The Devereux by several common ancestors, Lord John Gaunt, Duke of Beaufort, Lord John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk and Lord Walter Devereux, 8th Baron Ferrers of Chartley.

Lord John Phillip Carey with his wife, Lady Katherine Herbert traveled with Lord Patrick William Howard and Lady Margaret Penelope Devereux on board the USS Excalibur on April 30, 2153 along with several other families including, Lord Edmund Beaufort and his wife, Lord Richard Devereux and his wife, Lord John Churchill and his wife, Lord Joshua Collins and his wife, Lord Reynolds Seymour, and his wife, Lord Reginald Grey and his wife, Lord Alexander James Stuart and his wife and Lord Phillip Valois and his wife, and Lord Robert Bourbon and his wife.

Lord John Carey and his wife, Lady Katherine didn't have their first child until 2165, and it was a son, Lord Philip Carey and it was son, Lord William Carey who would marry Lord Patrick William Howard granddaughter, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard in 2107, and they would give Lord Patrick William Howard his first great-grandson, Lord George Frederick Carey in 2209 followed by his first son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, the son of Lord Frederick William Howard second son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior and Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Churchill.

Lord William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory and Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard and their two children, Lord George Frederick Carey and Lady Georgette Charlotte Carey lived in the countryside in the territory of Bedford on Star Base.

Bedford Territory is the second largest territory next to Norfolk Territory and it borders Norfolk on the north, Suffolk on the south, Essex on the East and Wessex on the West.

Suffolk Territory borders Wessex and Lennox on the South-East and Essex on the east.

Bedford Territory is mainly an agricultural community and most of the produce comes from Bedford Territory.

It consists of farmers and simple people who are not aristocrats and it has a very good school taught by the Amish.

Lord William Carey is also related to Lady Jeanette VIrginia Beaufort, Lord John Devereux, and Lord Patrick William Howard as Lord William Carey married the granddaughter of Lord Edmund Beaufort.

Lord William Carey was a proud man of his beautiful wife and two handsome children, Lord George and Lady Georgette.

Lord William Carey got along very well with Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior and Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Churchill and their children got along with Lord Charles Andrew JR, Lord Richard Edward Howard Senior, Lady Sophia Charlotte, and Lord Edwin William.

There wasn't anyone who didn't like Lord William Carey.

Lord Frederick William Carey marries the granddaughter of Lord Robert Bourbon in 2228 and in 2230, Lady Henrietta Ann gives birth to a son, Lord Robert Frederick and in 2233 she gives birth to a daughter, Lady Roberta Henrietta Carey.

Lord Robert Frederick William marries Lady Lettice Essex Knolly in 2248 and in June of 2250, she gives birth to Lord Richard William Carey and in 2255 she gives birth to a daughter, Lady Roberta Frederica Carey.

Neither Lord Richard William Carey nor his little sister are born on Star Base 12 and they are born of Rigel Seven, an United Federation outpost.

News reaches Lord George Carey in 2260, that Rigel Seven is threatened with a famine similar to the one that affected Talos IV.

Fearful for his grandchildren's lives he tells his first cousin, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, and Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his first cousin, " Now, Lord George. We are first cousins and unfortunately we share the same terrible grandfather, Lord Frederick William Howard, but your grandchildren are my first cousin twice removed."

"Your grandchildren are the great-grandchildren of my aunt, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard and Lord Richard William Carey is your heir." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

Lord George Carey writes his son, Lord Robert and his wife, Lady Lettice and insists that his son place his two grandchildren on the next starship and have them sent to Star Base 12 where his sister, Lady Roberta Henrietta and he can take care of them.

Lady Henrietta Ann passed away in 2250 and Lord George never remarries and his daughter helps him in Bedford Territory, as she never marries.

In 2259, Lord Robert places his two children, Lord Richard William and Lady Roberta Frederica on the USS Yorktown and Lady Lettice kisses their two children and tells Lord Richard William " Please take care of your little sister and make sure she marries someone worthy."

"My dear son and daughter. It grieves me that we must depart from each other, but your grandfather insists that you come and live with him. You will have other cousins to play with, Lord Charles Andrew JR has a son, Lord Andrew Charles who is your age, so does Lord Richard Edward Howard Senior, so does Lord Edward Howard, and Lord William Frederick Howard II." Lord Robert explains, "Your mother and I are headed for Star-Base 10. Your maternal grandparents will give us a country manor to live in and Lord Richard William. You are the heir of Bedford Territory. I know that you will make me proud of you." Lord Robert tells his son.

Lord Richard William Carey is nine years old and his sister, Lady Roberta is 4 years old when they board the USS Yorktown and head for Star-Base 12.

When they orbit around Star Base 12, Lord Richard William Carey is 10 and Lady Roberta is 5 years old when they are transported down to Star Base 12.

Lord George Carey and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR are there to meet Lord Richard William and Lady Roberta at the beam down point.

And with Lord Charles Andrew JR is ten years old, Lord Andrew Charles, ten year old, Lord Richard Edward Howard II, ten year old, Lord Thomas William Howard and nine year old Lord Frederick William Howard III.

Lord George Carey walks up to his grandchildren, "My dear grandchildren. Welcome to Bedford Territory. This is your first cousin, twice removed, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, and these are your cousins, Lord Thomas William Howard is your third cousin, His great-grandfather was Lord Andrew Charles Howard, Duke of Northumberland Territory, Lord Frederick William Howard III, is the son of Lord Frederick William Howard II, and he is your first cousin twice removed, Lord Richard Edward II is your first cousin twice removed, and his father is Lord Richard Edward Howard II and this is Lord Andrew Charles, and he is your first cousin twice removed." Lord George explains to his grandchildren.

Lord Richard William Carey grows close to Lord Frederick William Howard II and Lord Thomas William Howard, who later becomes the Duke of Northumberland Territory, but neither Lord Frederick William Howard III nor Lord Thomas William Howard care for Lord Andrew Charles Howard and his ally is Lord Richard Edward Howard II since they are first cousins.

Lord George introduces his grandchildren to Lord David William Beck, and explains, " Lord David William Beck is your first cousin twice removed."

"Lord David William Beck's grandfather is Lord Edwin William Howard." Lord George explains.

Lady Roberta Frederica meets Lady Richenda Edwina Howard, Lady Thomasina Wilhelmina Howard and Lady Antoinette Louisa Howard and they all get along very well together.

Lord Richard William and his sister, Lady Roberta grow up in the countryside of Bedford Territory and they are adored by their grandfather, Lord George and their grand-aunt, Lady Roberta.

Lord Richard William Carey attends the same Parochial School that his cousins attend in Bedford Territory and he is an excellent student.

Lady Roberta attends the finishing school for young women in Bedford Territory, and they come to love Bedford Territory.
