Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey, Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard, Marchioness of Pembroke Territory comes to age in 2307, and in 2305, Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory takes him to the cotillion of 2305 to introduce him to the many young ladies who will have their cotillion in December of 2305.
Lady Karissa becomes emotional and she looks at her youngest son, Lord Benjamin Lawrence, Duke of Langley Territory and she tells him " You are my youngest son, Lord Benjamin Lawrence,"
"I have seen your two older brothers be happily married, along with your three older sisters and younger half sister, and they all made brilliant and happy marriages." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Gee mom. Do I have to marry?" Lord Benjamin Lawrence asks.
"No. My son. You don't have to marry, but I beseech you to remember it will be through you that what your great-great-great-great-grandfather, Lord John Carey started in 2165 along with Lord Patrick William Howard." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lady Caroline Matilda and you have a big responsibility in caring for what Lord John Carey started with Lord Patrick William Howard." Lady Karissa tells him.
Lady Caroline Matilda walks into the drawing room as she is married in 2303 and in 2305 she gives birth to Lady Isabella Karissa Carey, named for her paternal and maternal grandmother, Lady Isabella Collins and Lady Karissa."
"My dear brother. You and I are all the remains of the Carey family." Lady Caroline explains."Dad is counting on you to carry on what our great-great-great-great-grandfather started in 2165."
"Sis. You will become Duchess of Bedford Territory." Lord Benjamin Lawrence explains.
"My dear bro. Lord Kevin Thomas II and I only agreed to give the Carey surname to our firstborn and here she is Lady Isabella Karissa Carey, but the rest of our children will receive their fathers surname." Lady Caroline Matilda explains, " All of your children will receive our father's surname and you are his only son."
"You are my heir presumptive if Lady Isabella Karissa Carey fails to have any children." Lady Caroline Matilda explains.
"Do you remember what I told you bro. We are Carey's and we are not from the Howard family although our great-great-grandmother was Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard." Lady Caroline Matilda explains.
"Your second child regardless of the sex will be line to inherit the Dukedom of Bedford Territory as your eldest child will inherit the Dukedom of Langley Territory." Lady Caroline Matilda tells her brother.
"There are many worthy young women who love to be married to one of the most handsome young men on Star Base 12." Lady Caroline Matilda tells her brother.
"Gee sis. You are embarrassing me." Lord Benjamin Lawrence tells his sister.
"Mom used to have a son to describe all of her sons and she told me it was called "Close To You." Lady Caroline Matilda tells her brother.
"Lord Benjamin Lawrence looks at his sister, " I haven't found anyone yet sis."
"Lord Benny, that is why our father is taking you to the cotillion so you may get to know some of them." Lady Caroline Matilda explains.
"Lord Kevin Thomas has a sister, Lady Karen Elizabeth Riley and his mother sister, Lady Josette and Lord John Seymour have a daughter, Lady Marjorie Seymour, and there is Lady Elizabeth Ann Valois and Lady Beatrice Burgundy." Lady Caroline explains.
"There is Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Spencer-Churchill." Lady Caroline Matilda explains.
"They are close to your age, Lord Benjamin Lawrence." Lady Caroline tells her brother.
Lady Caroline Matilda looks at her brother and Lord Richard William tells him " Your aunt, Lady Philadelphia Essex Carey has a daughter, Lady Stephanie Michelle Bourbon as the eldest daughter, Lady Marie married Lord Alphonso Burgundy."
Lord Benjamin Lawrence with his father attends the cotillion of 2305 and there are three young women that catch his attention and they are Lady Elizabeth Ann Valois, Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Spencer-Churchill, and Lady Victoria Eugenie Julia Ena Battenberg.
Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey like his older brother, Lord Albert Edward can't decide and they turn to Lord Anthony Christopher and he says "It's a matter of the heart, Lord Benny."
"Mom made sure that all of her children would be able to marry for love and no other reason and our sister upholds the rule." Lord Anthony explains, " There is no better feeling than love."
Lady Alexandrina walks in with two children, Lord Alexander Andrew Howard aged 3 years old and Lord Andrew Charles II who has just been born and she tells him " Lord Benjamin Lawrence. I know you will make a happy marriage and it will be blessed by many children."
"Mom had seven children." Lord Benny states.
"Our mom was a special woman, Lord Benny." Lord Anthony states, "If I marry I will name one of my daughters after our mom even though our niece, and our sister are named after her."
"Don't let Lady Elizabeth hear that." Lord Anthony states "She already had an argument with our uncle, Lord Charles Andrew III about how he had no right to name his daughter after our mother, our sister is our mother's daughter." Lord Anthony tells his brother with a laugh.
"Lord Charles Andrew III did name our sister, after our mom." Lord Benjamin Lawrence states.
"I know but mom told Lady Elizabeth to compromise with Lady Elizabeth." Lord Anthony states.
"Lord Charles and mom' s daughter was born before our niece, Lady Karissa Ann, and Lord Charles Andrew III had the right to name our sister, Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard. I have to admit she is the most beautiful child I have ever seen."
"Then again our niece is just as beautiful." Lord Anthony states.
Follow your heart, Lord Benny. It won't misguide you but if you listen to your head it will.' Lord Anthony states.
Lord Benjamin Lawrence Carey has to decide between Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Spencer-Churchill or Lady Elizabeth Ann Valois, and in the end he chooses Lady Elizabeth Ann Valois.
Lord Francis Valois is delighted and Lord Richard William Carey and he finalize the marriage agreement between each other for their two children to marry in 2307, and they married in June of 2307 and in 2310, they are blessed with Lord George Frederick Carey II, named for his paternal great-great-great-grandfather, and in 2315, Lady Elizabeth Ann gives birth to a daughter, Lady Elizabeth Karissa Ann Howard and he refuses his daughter name to prevent conflict with Lady Elizabeth and in 2320 Lady Elizabeth gives birth to a second son, Lord John Phillip Carey II.
Lady Caroline Matilda Carey has three children for Lord Richard William Carey, Lord Kevin Thomas Riley Senior and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard-Carey nee Lowell and they are Lady Isabella Karissa Carey, Lord Kevin Thomas Riley III and Lady Karen Elizabeth Riley.
It is through Lady Isabella Karissa Carey and Lord George Frederick Carey II that Carey's carry Bedford and Langley Territory in the 24th century.
