Have you ever felt so strongly about somebody, that it hurts that your not with them?

That the only reason your not together is because you were afraid to express yourself with them, in fear that it might scare them away?

Regretting the fact that by trying to keep them in your life instead of risking loosing them, you ended up pushing them away from you instead?

And knowing that there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to get what you had back.

Which hurts knowing that not only did you lose your best friend, that you also lost a chance at having something even more special with them than anybody can even imagine.

Losing that one special person in your life who has had the most impact on your life.

That one person who not only had such a great personality, but also had such a good heart and always put others before themselves.

That person that was a best friend to you and that your life feels completely broken without them in it?

Before, you could never imagine the fact that one day they might not be in your life anymore.

And it is completely and 100% your own fault.

That guys name was Aiden. He was the most important person to me and now he's gone. He has another best friend, another girlfriend, and doesn't talk to me anymore.

Lets start this whole story from the beginning, shall we?

It was the middle of October and I was getting on the bus after school. I sat in seat 11 and he sat in the seat directly beside me.

I had seen him around middle school a few times, but never actually knew his name. It was now my sophomore year and we rode the same bus. I was sitting by myself and he looked over at me and said "hey kaylee"

I was a little shocked that he knew my name, cause we had never talked before. So, being nice, I said "hey"

'How was your day today", he said.

"It was fine", I said. "How was your day?... And err sorry to be rude, but what's your name..?"

"Ohh now I feel like a stalker cause I know who you are, and you don't even have a clue who I am.", he said with a sad face that I could tell was fake. He was trying his hardest not to laugh. "My name is Aiden. I'm friends with Devon."

"Ohh" was all I said. I was embarrassed that he was best friends with a guy I had known since before elementary school, and I didn't even know his name.

We talked the whole bus ride home. I knew from then on that we were gonna be very close.
