ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

---------------------------------------------

That evening on the bus was awkward. Since he held my hands the whole way to school that morning I didn't really know what to say to him.

"What's wrong Kaylee?", he said. "I can tell something is bothering you.

"Ohh it's nothing. I'm fine" I said. I tried to start a conversation trying to get him to forget about something bothering me.

As we talked, things didnt feel as awkward. Things just went back to normal. That is, until he had the bright idea to take my hands again to "see if they were cold again".

I think that was just his excuse to hold my hand.

As the bus was getting closer and closer to his stop, I knew he was gonna let go of my hand soon.

But there was this feeling inside me that didnt want him to let go. I decided that the feeling was just something random and will go away soon. So I just forgot about it.

"Well, I am getting off Kaylee, text me?", Aiden said.

"Okay, Aiden, I will." I said and he got off the bus.

Since I was now alone in my seat, I decided to use the other half of the seat to lay my legs on. (Cause everybody knows sitting correctly on the bus is not very comfortable).

We texted all evening long. Not really talking about anything in particular.

We just talked about random things like: foods we like, foods we dislike, music, etc.

It was around 6:30 in the evening, and I heard a knock on my door. I got up and decided to look out the peep hole (just in case it was some one scary on the other side of my door).

When I looked through the peep hole, I couldn't see anything. It was like somebody was covering it up.

I was getting a little scared at who was on the other side of the door. I told myself to "stop being such a girl" and I unlocked the door.

I opened the door and I hear "hey we were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by". It was Aiden and Devon at the door.

They really were dorks sometimes. Devon is one of those awkwardly super tall, but really skinny guys.

My best friend of 4 years, Josh, also came by while Aiden and Devon were over.

When you get Aiden and Devon in the same room, you know it's gonna be funny. They constantly tell jokes.

My sister was on the couch studying a friends answer sheet so she could do well on a test she was worried about.

Aiden and Devon decide that she "needs a confrontation because of her cheating ways".

"We're not here to hurt you, we're here to help you. You are surrounded by people who love you and care for you", said Devon.

"The first step to solving a problem, is admitting you have one. Jenna, is there something you wanna admit to us?", said Aiden.

My parents, Josh, and I all busted out laughing. It was like we were actually confronting her because we were worried about her.

The whole joke carried on for a half an hour before Aiden and Devon finally gave up.

It was 9:30 before anybody decided to think about going home. My friend Josh offered to drive Devon and Aiden home.

Since Josh was a year older than me, he had his license. So he drove them home.

We all said our good byes and they left. It was really a good evening.

When Aiden got home, he texted me. We talked till 1 in the morning.

Aiden is somebody you can talk to, and it just seems easy. When you talk to him, it's like you have known him for years.

Finally around 1 am, Aiden texted me back and said, "I'm tired. Good night beautiful".

I was so awe struck that I almost forgot to reply. I didn't really know how to reply to that, so I decided to send the first thing that came to my head.

"Goodnight. Try not to dream about me too much d:", I replied.

His reply was, "No promises :D". That was the end of the conversation, and I went to sleep and when I woke up in the morning, I had a text.

I unlocked my phone to see who the text was from. It was from Aiden.

Aiden usually doesnt text me at 6:30 in the morning, so I was worried. I thought that something bad must have happened.

So I was scared to open the message. When I finally opened the message, it said, "I think your psychic. I dreamt about you ALL night long! :)".

I replied to him and said, "awe really? what happened?"

His reply took me by surprise. He said, "Well we were watching a movie, and we had one of those 'moments'. So I decided to make a move. So I slowly put my arm around you. Then you leaned into me and we layed there like that for a while. Then when the movie was over, I made dinner for you. Which you loved cause I'm an amazing cook. Then after we ate, I took you home and gave you a soft kiss on the cheek."

When I read that message, I didn't know what to say. So I just changed the subject to something I was more comfortable talking about.

When I got on the bus, I sat by myself and took up the whole seat. Then when he got on, he decided he wanted to sit with me.

I was already comfortable, so I told him "you can only sit with me if you let me use you as a foot rest".

He said, "okay" then laughed and sat down. When I put my legs on him I think he felt awkward at first.

He then rested his hands on my legs. Then he started rubbing my leg and I asked him, "Aiden, what are you doing?".

"Sorry. Your pants are really soft!", he said.

I laughed and told him it was okay. After that, we were silent, but it was a comfortable silence. He continued to rub my leg the rest of the way to school.

I could tell that Aiden was starting to develop feelings for me. But I didn't say anything. I just ignored it, hoping it would go away. It worked for a while, but I knew it wouldn't work forever.
