Jade's POV:

I seem to have entered a different place. Still in shock, I tried blinking my eyes multiple times, yet I was still there. I snapped myself out of the shocked state and stood up. This place is unfamiliar and mysterious. I trudged myself through the white-carpeted path and went out of the alley to the streets.

The people loitering on the street kept looking at me. Like I was some oddity, when in fact, they were the ones who looked odd! Donned with gown-like caps and big high hats. Everyone looks different from my environment, like a completely different country. They give the same vibes as the old man, and these people wear clothes of a similar style but with a higher status vibe.

Everything in this area is so weird!

I just saw some kids carrying a bird that looks like an owl! This place is unusual--kids wear costumes and speak a foreign language. I honestly don't have any idea what's happening.

Third Person POV:

Appearing to be stuck in place due to the weirdness and denial, Jade tried pinching herself to prove this place was a daydream. Long locks of white ran past Jade's field of view; she almost mistakenly thought of it as snow. That is when she spotted the old man that she met earlier! And he seemed to have spotted her too since he started to walk his way to Jade, as much as it appeared to be while in the thick carpet of snow.

"It's you! Miss Deliman, right? My name's Albus Dumbledore, professor and headmaster of the school of witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts!" He introduced himself boastingly. "I remember that I've invited you, haven't I? So, shall we?" Dumbledore, the professor, gestured a thumb behind him, causing Jade's focus to shift to the colossal building behind the man.

Overwhelmed with the event, Jade hurriedly asks the headmaster, "Excuse me, sir, but what is this? What is happening? What is this place? How did I get here? How did all of this happen?" She stammered out all of the confusion revolving inside her brain. "I simply offered you an opportunity." He counter back a smile against all of Jade's questions.

"Now, you young one, you became curious. Out of that muggle world, you can nurture your gift and become one of the greatest mentors here in Hogwarts!" He exclaimed in jubilation. As if everything he stated wasn't a jumble of random words going in Jade's ear through the other.

"Hah?"

A dumbfounded Jade continued looking at him. Understanding that the young teen cannot comprehend a word, Dumbledore proceeded. "I just want to harness your skills by giving you an opportunity. Why don't we continue this in my office? There we can shake a deal."

Without letting little Jade utter another word, Dumbledore made his way to the massively sticking-out building. Jade was left there still on high with whatever was happening. Did she take drugs? No, Jade was a good and obedient kid. But what if she accidentally took drugs!? Stumbling with her theories, she noticed the old professor standing still and peering at her. He was waiting for Jade to catch up and follow him.

Having no other choice, Jade pursued the professor's side. Obviously, she wouldn't have any say in the matter. The place is entirely different from her orphanage, and she doesn't have knowledge of the stores she's walking by. The stores appear to be arranged in whichever they are selling, and all of them are filled with bizarre foods, clothes, and artifacts. This old guy seems to know every nook and cranny this outlandish place can offer to the girl's imagination.

Dumbledore, professor and headmaster, huh?

As they continued the walk to the ally Jade noticed a group of kids huddling outside an artifact store as if they had seen a magical robot they had been dreaming of on display. Curiously, she took a peek and was met with an ancient-looking broom.

Weirdos...

Though the broom did look fancy, she was surprised that it almost made her roll her eyes. Being distracted by the gathered kids, Jade didn't notice the headmaster had stopped walking and almost bumped her head at his bosom if not for his coat catching her focus. The old professor is waiting for something. Jade was about to ask what they were waiting for when a carriage arrived in front of them.

Jade's POV:

Well, if it isn't another incongruous thing! The carriage is floating, defeating the laws of physics. there is no Multiple horses saddled up in front of the carriage but the carriage is still not falling. The overcast hues of maroon and dusk balanced off the color of gold linings surrounding the carriage.

The headmaster, Dumbledore, went in first and offered a hand for me to take. I sat next to the carriage door with a window.

Indeed, this was a mysterious environment.

I shiver at the thought of uncanny. Shiver? Well, no wonder I'm freezing! I'm wearing a casual T-shirt and shorts that end above my knees!
