Zira's P.O.V.
The party continued on without any terrible mis-haps. There were a few things that annoyed Lord Beerus here and there, but every time I was able to calm his anger before it blew up into anything serious. Vegeta seemed astounded with how I handled him, and despite my success, he still eyed us cautiously the whole time. I couldn't exactly blame him, but I also wasn't worried. I didn't think Beerus was gonna stay much longer anyway. He looked a little tired, leaning against the railing of the boat and yawning.
"I gotta say, while this whole search might've been a bust, this party hasn't been half bad. I suppose this planet isn't all that bad." he admitted. "Indeed, and if nothing else, the food is to die for!" Whis stated. "Wrong, it's to live for!" Beerus corrected, giving a little chuckle. I smiled, feeling pleased. When Beerus isn't constantly getting mad, he was actually kinda a nice person to hang out with.
"Well, I apologize you couldn't find your Super Saiyan God. It's possible you'll find more information elsewhere." I said hopefully.
"No, I think this was the only place that had a chance at information, and it doesn't seem like it'll work. Oh well, I guess I'll go back home and take a nap." Beerus stated. "Very well, my lord, let me just get some food for the road. I heard they have this amazing delicacy called sushi, and I'd love to take some home!" Whis said, eyeing the sushi cart nearby. The destroyer nodded lazily, gesturing him to shoo off.
"Yes, yes, hurry up then. I'm not a fan of waiting." he stated. Whis barely acknowledged his stern tone as he hurried to the sushi stand.
"Remind me of how you even thought of this warrior? You said it came to you in a premonition?" I asked curiously. "Indeed. And I really had my hopes up to finally have a worthy opponent. But, at the very least," he paused for a moment to glance at me before giving a small smile, "the company wasn't so annoying." I blinked, surprised by his "compliment". Even so, I happily accepted it with a friendly smile.
"And I'm glad I could see a bit of the real Lord Beerus...." I murmured, mostly speaking to myself. However I noticed the purple cat's ear twitch towards me, along with a curious expression on his face.
"What does that mean-"
"Yo, Lord Beerus!" Beerus and I perked up. To my surprise, Goku started to walk towards us, wearing his usual goofy grin. I was surprised by his presence. I thought Beerus had knocked him out cold on King Kai's world? I guess he's recooperated since then. "Hmm, remind me who you are again....? Ah yes, you're that Saiyan I met on Kai's world." Beerus replied, although he hardly seemed interested, swaying his tail from side to side.
"Sorry to disturb you, I just came to see how things were going." he replied. "Not too shabby I suppose. I was just getting to know of your fellow Saiyans, Zira here." Beerus replied. "Yeah? She's really nice, isn't she? She gets along great with everybody! She's especially good with kids!" Goku stated.
"Yes, I noticed." Beerus replied his smile growing just a little more. "Anyway, did you manage to find out anything about this Super Saiyan God?" Goku asked curiously. This question made the destroyer sigh in disappointment. "I'm afraid not, it seems our trail has finally run dry. In fact, as soon as Whis gets his precious sushi, we're going to be leaving." Beerus stated.
"THANK GOD!!"
The three of us looked to the end of the boat, seeing Vegeta suddenly blink at us. He immediately shut up and smiled nervously, pretending to drink his empty cup. "I guess someone is happy I'll be leaving...." Beerus muttered bitterly.
Goku closed his eyes and began to think, crossing his arms across his chest. "Weird, I've never even heard of this warrior before. But there must be something we can do find one....OH! I got it!" he cried excitedly, slamming a fist into his hand. Beerus and I blinked, looking to each other briefly before looking back at the Saiyan. "What's your plan?" I asked.
