Frieza's P.O.V.

"Well, I suppose it's my turn to say this," I held my arms out to my sides, bearing a wide grin, "feel free to attack any way you wish."

Zira didn't react right away, eyes narrowed as she eyed me carefully. She seemed to be contemplating her first move. The entire time I didn't pull my gaze away from her. As she demonstrated against Tagoma, her speed is uncanny compared to many others. I couldn't afford to lose sight of her for even a second-

And then she was gone, faster than I could blink.

My eyes widened in shock, and I inhaled sharply at the power level I felt behind me. Instinctively, my tail thrust forward and caught her wrist, just inches away from my neck. I looked over my shoulder to glare at her, but I didn't even have time to respond before a foot swung toward my side. I blocked with my forearm before throwing my own punch. She yanked my tail up, blocking it with my own appendage. I growled before reluctantly releasing her wrist. This gave her the chance to send a fury of punches and kicks towards me.

Despite her speed, I managed to block every attack. Once I spotted an opening, I whirled my tail around, slamming it into her stomach. She gasped in pain as she was sent flying, only managing to stop her fall once she was a few feet above the ground. I chuckled as she coughed a moment, looking up at me nervously.

"Hehehe, I admit your speed is quite extraordinary, even for a Super Saiyan. But you'll need more than speed to save your pathetic planet." I stated. Zira didn't respond, and instead got into another fighting stance, awaiting my next move.

I lifted my finger and shot multiple red energy beams, each one flying at rapid speed. She did her best to evade the mirage, swerving left and right, some she even deflected with her arms. However, one managed to strike her shoulder, causing her to cry out and grip onto it. My smile widened and I lunged forward, using the distraction as a chance to catch her off guard. I charged a purple beam in my hand, and once I was only a few feet away from her, I shot the large blast, aiming right for her chest.

She reacted quickly however, and raised her glowing red hand, causing a red energy shield to appear before her. The blast was immediately deflected, and I suddenly regretted being so close as it recishaded towards my direction. The blast sent me flying a bit, forcing me to land onto the ground. I growled, shaking off the pain to glare at the smoke cloud that formed in front of me. However, I barely had a chance to take a breath before a red light glowed from inside the cloud, and an energy blast was shot towards my direction.

I immediately took to the sky, dodging the large blast below me as it shot into a large boulder. But I didn't have enough time to react upon seeing the shadow that cast from above me. I cried out at a sharp pain in the back of my neck, causing me to go crashing towards the ground. Before I could make impact, another sharp pain in my stomach sent me flying towards my left, causing me to crash into a nearby boulder. I cried out as pain shot across my body, but I quickly shook it off and got back onto my feet, growling in frustration.

The Saiyan woman stood not too far from me, eyeing me calmly. The look in her eyes looked almost....sad. As if she pitied me. That look made me sick to my stomach.

"Do you still wish to keep going?" she asked. I slammed my tail into the ground, a loud whip like sound emitting into the air.

"Do I look like I'm done, you foolish woman?!" I snarled. I lunged forward, throwing a punch towards her face. She immediately blocked it, but her eyes widened in shock when seeing the energy beam I charged in my other hand. I smirked, raising it up towards her and firing. The blast made direct contact, and she cried out as she flew upwards, into the sky.
