The cold demeanor that Makio has mainly towards Suma isn't really an act, while the others might think so Suma knows the truth. She knows Makio doesn't like her as much as she likes Lord Tengan or Hinatsuru but she still tries to show her as much love and appreciation as she can despite the fact that she gets on her nerves; because one thing is for certain... Makio might not love her but Suma will always love Makio.
