Maya's POV  

"Ooooo guys I like this bedding!" I call to Ellery and Val. We are out shopping for our dorms. Unfortunately, it's power shopping because we have less than three days to get all of our stuff and move in. I think we are all nervous. Valerie and I don't have to worry about roommate, but El has to share a room with someone named Emmy Fischer.

I pick up the purple bedding and hold it out for them to inspect. It is purple with lots of ruffles. Totally girly.

"Love it Maya!" Val says as she picks up a green and pink striped set. Ellery has been carrying around a blue and gray tie dye duvet for a while.

"Then it's settled! We'll get these ones." We each run to where our sets are and grab the finishing pieces of bedding and room decor. As I am walking to the checkout something catches my eye. There is a huge wall in the shop devoted to wall decorations. Some of them have definitely caught my attention. One of them says "They don't know how special you are. They don't know what you've done to my heart," in black swirly letters. Perfect for Ellery. Another one says "The one that I came with, didn't know how to move. The way that you let your hair down, I can tell that you do," in yellow letters. That one would be good for Val. Then I see one that I would want to put on my wall. In teal it says "Tell me girl if every time you touch you get this kind of rush." I automatically grab the three lyric art posters off the wall and rush up to the checkout. The cashier rings up my total and hands me three bags full of stuff for college.

Valerie's POV  

We all exit the store. I got some pretty good stuff for my room! I feel confident about college and moving in to a new home. A big reason is because Niall says he will come visit me everyday, and I know he usually does what he says. I'm worried for Ellery though. I'm worried about her roommate, Emily. Ellery can be so shy and act differently around new people. I just hope that everything turns out okay.

As we are walking to where we parked the car, Ellery stops for a moment in front of a store window. She scans it really fast before blushing and moving on. Maya and I look up and realize what it is. Hundreds of wedding gowns line the walls. Maya looks at me, but without her usual mischievous glint. This time she is full of understanding. Without a word, Maya grabs El and steers us all into the store.

I find myself doing all the talking. I explain to the manager that El is looking for a wedding dress and that the wedding is in a couple days. Even though Ellery looks like a tiny little girl too young for marriage, the manager agrees to help us look.

Ellery's POV  

"Something simple, but not to old fashioned looking. I like lace." I tell the woman who is in charge of finding me a dress. We both know I have no idea what I'm looking for.  

"You look awfully familiar!" She randomly exclaims. "It frustrates me when I can't place a face." She explains. I nod in understanding.

"I USED TO THINK THAT I WAS BETTER ALONE!!!" MY phone starts ringing. Blushing, I grab it and answer the call.  

"Hello?" 

"Hi babe it's Lou!" A cheerful voice answers.  

"Why hello love!" I can feel a smile break over my face.  

"I was just calling to say that we got a car to take us to the Summer Festival tonight around 6:30." 

"Oh right! That event kinda slipped my mind."
